Nice group dinner

We had our office Christmas party here. Total 8 of us. We were seated in the Wine Room. It was private, so we were able to talk business and sum up our end of the year and not disturb any other diners. Food was good, although they are known for their chicken and were already out of it by... read more

I live only 2 miles from this restaurant so I guess that is why I end up coming here from time to time. Roosters used to be a standout however I'm not sure that I can say that anymore relative to the other restaurants in the area. During this visit, I had a reservation but needed to add two more... This was our first visit here. We had a friendly waiter. We didn't wait too long for our food. The bread wasn't the best. My husband and I ordered salmon. It was good, but it should've been a lot bigger for $19. It was way too small. The grits with bacon were okay. It tasted more like something with kennel... More

Not really great, I now know why this place was the only one around Southpark that had tables available for brunch. Service was very slow even though the restaurant was not busy. We ordered the chicken fingers for the kids and there were 4 pieces of the size of chicken nuggets at Chick-fil-a. They have brought more in and did... More

We were a table of 3 adults. The vegetables were delicious. The rest of the food was not very good. The service was good and we weren't there at a busy time of the week or day. Not sure if I would return unless I just ordered vegetables.

Our regular dinner group was treated at Rooster's to perhaps the worst service, and undistinguished food, any of us could remember. We were seated in a peripheral area that was not actually part of the restaurant, and that should have tipped us off to what was to come. The one lonely waiter assigned to our table took more than half... More

Great restaurant, except noisy! Cool eclectic menu. Fun Bar as well. Very convenient. Great selection of wines too!

Delightful evening with six other colleagues. All enjoyed food. Chicken, scallops excellent. AuGrautin potatoes and fried corn a must. Wine selection OK, but most over priced . We had one corked bottle, but sommelier quickly Replaced.

Ate dinner at Roosters to celebrate a cousin's birthday. Started with a French Martini which was pretty good and fried oysters which were tasty. The meal went downhill from there. I ordered the braised short rib of beef which was the right mixture of lean beef and fat but was completely tasteless - no salt or seasoning of any kind!... More

Rooster's is one of the finest restaurant in the country. The seemingly simple fare always surprises with its complexity and quality. The beauty of presentation, without the disguise of bland sauces and meaningless garnishes, serves to emphasize the purpose of the meal - the food. Perhaps the only drawback is the menu's failure to appeal to food snobs - but... More
