I don't go for indian food often, but I really enjoy it when I go. This menu didn't have many dishes with names I recognized from going to everyday indian restaurants, but they all sounded amazing. We tried an appetizer and 2 dishes and they were all delicious! I have a feeling you can't choose wrong here!

A surprise find for us here, this is an almost fine dining fusion resto in the heart of Charlotte. Chef Consultant Mel Oza creates some delightful fusions in this bungalow turned resto offering delectable Indian dishes with a twist of modern flavors. Wine pairings might need some improvement. I selected the French Pinot Noir and found it wanting air. For... More

Interesting menu, I would say modern contemporary. Lamb dishes melted in your mouth, and for our guest from India plenty of veg dishes to choose from. Bar was well stocked with Indian beers, Hayward's 5000 is the best. Service and ambiance in this converted mansion was exceptional.

Great Indian haute cuisine... creative presentation, excellent wine list Tiki masala was excellent. The service was superb. They were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions (no dairy or grain) with ease and grace. We'll be back!

I'm probably not the best person to ask because I just don't like Indian food. I did find the dishes to be interesting and innovative but when he said things were spicy, he wasn't kidding and it hit me afterwards. Otherwise the ambience is nice. It's very overpriced .

Good and Clean, Little pricey. Food is tasty. Look for tamarind, chutney and the yogurt sauce. ,,,,,,,

My husband loves Indian food and I'm not a big fan, but, Cooper offers meals for all. We went with another couple that had never had Indian food before and we all really enjoyed our meals. I had a chicken dish with a coconut sauce and it was amazing. The garlic naan was so good too. we sat in the... More

Expensive for what you get. Waitstaff was unhelpful and inattentive. Half the menu isn't even Indian food. There are many far better options for excellent Indian food in town that don't cost a fortune.

Copper is located in an historic house in Charlotte's downtown Dilworth neighborhood. Over the past 25 to 30 years a number of different restaurants have been in the building, but I believe that Copper has been there longer than any of its predecessors, so obviously it's successful. I love the ambiance, semi-upscale. I'm not really knowledgeable about what's "authentic" Indian... More

The cuisine at Copper is contemporary. Restaurateur Aparappar Singh Pannu and chef Mel Oza have developed a menu that incorporates traditional flavors and culinary techniques of classic Indian cuisine and have given it all a nouveau twist.
