Went their recently for dinner and had an amazing dish created by Chef Donnie. The brussel sprouts there are the best I've ever had. The quirky character of the restaurant fits great with the neighborhood and the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend for dinner and breakfast!

I have been here for breakfast before a couple of times and the pancakes are delicious but some friends and I came in for dinner the other night. They have a new chef and all we could say is wow. From the wonderful flavors of the artichoke dip with pita bread, to the fish, to the steak! Chef Donnie Simmons... More

Don't get me wrong, I love this place! I've been coming here for several years as a local. The food is consistently good, coffee is good, wine specials are good for dinner, mimosas tasty, some beers. You just have to resign yourself to hipster service and be ok with that. Meaning you can ask for, say, cream to be brought... More

While I've eaten lunch & dinner there, they serve great egg and breakfast dishes all day, great omelette dishes & salads.

We love the Commonwealth/Elizabeth area. Very trendy, lots of great brewhouses and fun places to spend the evening. Breakfast came recommended at Zada Jane's and we were excited about the character of the place. But the service was lacking. It took 5-10 minutes just to get a coffee and a menu. Completely the manager's fault, not the two waitresses keeping... More

This is honestly one of my favorite places to stop and eat. As soon as you walk in, you breathe in the fresh atmosphere. All the staff is extremely friendly! There are so many vegan and vegetarian options to choose from. From the quirky decorations, to the amazing food, I have never left unsatisfied. I wouldn't suggest coming if you... More

Great location for relaxing weekend brunch with great food! If you're in a rush or have trouble waiting... look for alternative. Great local roasted coffee. Don't miss this small local gem!

I have been eating at Zada Jane's since it was founded in 2007, when the wonderful Roger Raymer was the original owner. The service was excellent and the food consistently delicious. The food is still delicious, but the wait has gotten so bad at times that my family and I are not going back there, again, for a LONG time.... More

Stopped here again for breakfast. Great selection-"normal" as well as organic. Started our day off with the basic breakfast and a Bloody Mary! Was truly delish! They also feature Imladris Farms jams which are amazing! Portions were right sized and prices reasonable. We'll be back here on our next visit to Charlotte!
