The place is old and run down but I don't mind if the food is good. The chips were average and it took so long to get served, the chips were the appetizer. The service was below par. I speak Spanish and even speaking in Spanish didn't help. The chimichangas were average and the chicken soft tacos were so salty,... More

Pretty not bad! My family and I had an over night lay over. Miguel's was close to the hotel and came recommend by the staff. Small place authentic Mexican food with few American choices. Food was average for the situation we were in but definitely would not be my first choice had time permitted me to go elsewhere.

If you're looking for simple and delicious Mexican food near CLT try Miguel's. The crowded parking lot convinced us it was worth a try and we weren't disappointed. My husband is a carnitas connoisseur and he loved the carnitas from Miguel's (very juicy). I had a spinach quesadilla and it was delicious. Nothing fancy here--just good homemade food and friendly... This was a late-night dinner we had during an overnight layover in Charlotte. It was one of the few places open withing walking distance of our hotel, so we didn't have many choices. It was...average. One of the entrees we ordered was overly salty, and another - a vegetarian option with spinach - was inedibly salty. It was awful. The... More

Spot close to Airport for lunch. I didn't finish my plate. I had the Chimichanga for lunch. But I did eat the salsa and chips.

Hey there's a place by the airport that's quaint, if you are an anti-snob, home cooking kind of eater. Tasty mole sauce, exceptional shrimp fajitas. Dos Equis on the porch.... Lovely family, just keeping it real in Charlotte!

Just average. Not impressed. Had to ask for drink refills! Had to ask for more chips and salsa. Lot of people standing around looking busy!

We ate here twice recently-at the beginning and end of an out-of-town trip. It doesn't look very appealing from the outside but the food was very good - a large selection, plentiful servings and served hot. Service was so-so. I think it caters mostly to locals. We stayed at a nearby hotel and there weren't many choices to eat but... More

Maybe it is only what I ordered, but our last visit to Miguel's may be our last. We had good carne asada and carnitas a couple of weeks ago so came back. I made the mistake of ordering what I now see from another reviewer is a nightmare dish: enchilada + chile relleno. The chicken enchilada was good, with what... More

It kind of looks like a dive but that didn't bother my sister and me when we flew into Charlotte recently. It was the closest place to the airport we could find that sold alcohol. And the beer was the highlight of the place. The complimentary chips and salsa were pretty bad. How can you mess up chips? We shared... More
