The hours are a little strange (not open on Wednesdays) and the place is hidden inside a run down looking Asian Market, but this place is GOOD! It is worth navigating the pothole filled parking lot and construction on Sugar Creek road to get the #6 Bahn mi sandwich. Other options excellent as well.

I first heard of Le's through an article written by a local online magazine. Curious, I ventured out to the Asian Mall to get a taste. Do be careful traversing the parking lot as it is a crater field of pot holes. However once you get the sandwich in your hands and mouth it's worth it. Le's specializes in Bahn-Mi... More

Ok. This place is legit. You need to come here. I am writing this review from Vietnam. I have spent the last week and a half prowling ban mi street vendors in Hoi An, Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Saigon. None of them are as good as Le's. The fresh veggies and herbs. The perfect pork. The toasted French rolls.... More

Shaky at best area, LOCK YOUR CAR and don't stay long. I have heard from a few folks to try this place. We ordered two vegetarian and one pork sandwich. Very good crunchy bread and other great sandwich components. Very reasonably priced. Parking lot looks like a bomb zone and locals are a bit scary looking. No wonder place is... More

Our family has been in Charlotte for over 10 years now and my wife and I just visited this establishment today. Put it plainly: Le's is simple and amazing. We both had the #6 Pork Sandwich and loved it (so much that we bought another to go). The French Baguette is fresh and has a crunchy exterior - but soft... More

Inside an old mall that looks like it is 50% empty it's worth the drive through the pot holes of the parking lot to savor typical Bahn Mi sandwich on fresh crispy baguette with pickled dakon and carrots. Recommend you get the fresh slices of jalapeno's on the side and add the heat as much or as little as you... More

The best banh mi I have had. Whenever we visit charlotte we make sure we go there. I get the chicken and absolutely love it.

But it's a delicious trick at that. Considering all the different sandwiches I've had in a lifetime, the Bahn Mi ranks in the top 5 for sure. Done right, this is a simple delight, but all the elements need to be there. The bread is key - crunchy crispy thin crust, soft white bread middle. Must have quality type of... More

A very good bahn mi. I've had better bahn mi in Vietnam (wonder why Le doesn't use egg?), but for Charlotte this is probably the very best. They even have tofu for the vegetarians. Thank you! The area is sketchy, but actually not far at all from my house (in Plaza Midwood).
