Absolutely love the Mediterranean food here.as we know about a great Mediterranean food all over world and we cook at home too.
finally , I find a place for a favorite Gyro. I am looking to visit more this place
Loved the traditional food here. Never had Lebanon Mediterranean, and enjoyed it. Everything was fresh. Menu was a little hard to read when you enter. Staff was very nice. Took some Baklava home and also enjoyed it!
This is a very casual restaurant. Lots of people taking food to go. Decent amount of seating but at peak hours don't be surprised to be out of luck. I had the Shwarma Salad and it was really great. The chicken kabob was also really...good and juicy and tender. Ordering is a little confusing when you haven't been there before.More
Zeitouni is a perfect spot to grab a fresh, cooked-to-order casual meal. The menu has a variety of standard Lebanese offerings: falafel, hummus, kebabs, etc. What makes the restaurant stand-out is that most every item is made fresh after ordering. This means that it sometimes...takes a bit longer to get your order, but the wait is worth it. The kefta (kebab of grilled, ground beef and spices) and shish tawooq (kebab of grilled, marinated chicken) are both very good. But, my favorite item is the falafel (fried veggie patties from chickpeas, fava beans and spices). The falafel are always perfectly browned with a crunchy exterior and moist interior.More
We were craving some good Lebanese food on our road trip. Found Zeitouni. Place was empty on Friday early evening. Ordered the Mezza platter to go. Staff had as much personality as a brick and we felt we had to force them to converse with...us even though they weren't busy. Food was pretty good. Potatoes, baba ghanoush and tabbouleh were excellent. Falafel was good but had overpowering taste of cinnamon and grape leaves were vegetarian, mushy and oily.More
I have been to several Mediterranean restaurants in Charlotte and by far this one is my favorite. The food is flavorful and the staff friendly. It is a very casual atmosphere and the place is small only holding 15 or 20 tables.
We absolutely love this place. Everything is so very good. Beat gyro in the area, if not in the entire SE US. Every time we have visitors in the area it Zeitounis for lunch. Great service goes with the best food.
