Uncover the Spanish restaurant experience at South Charlotte, indulge in a delectable paradise of fresh, Modern Spanish & Tapas Bar. Miro Spanish Grille brings the vibrant flavors and ingredients of Spain into the culinary spotlight, combining the bold taste of classic Spanish cuisine with timeless European Modern cooking techniques.
This modern place always has a great menu as well as special menus. The waitstaff is professional and very knowledgeable about food and wines. Some of the best service we’ve had in the Charlotte area has been here (no kids chewing gum and saying “hi...guys”). But I want to give a special thanks for their Covid precautions; our waiter had two masks and gloves. He stayed a comfortable distance away when explaining the wines and specials. We ate outdoors because we will not eat inside no matter how empty.More
My wife and I were visiting the Charlotte area and wanted to take my son to a nice restaurant. We choose Miro and had a great evening there. The decor is modern with a very intimate style. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were...very diligent with Covid-19 procedures. The menu is heavy on seafood, which we did enjoy. I had a seafood paella, which was outstanding, served in a hot skillet. From appetizers to dessert this place is awesome and I highly recommend it.More
We have been a few times and consistently have great tasting food and average service. The greeter was fabulous and the gentleman (who spoke Spanish) who brought my salad out was great...The Piquillo was great and authentic. More variety on the menu would be great,...and a special or two. The sherry tasted old. The Tres Leches cake is great. Gambas were amazing The butter was soft on the bread which is great but tasted off. Be great to have some more tapa style food. For the price the service could have been more exciting, food was good and authentic.More
My husband and I and another couple went to Miro for dinner to celebrate my birthday. Even though we had reservations at 7:00 we were not seated until 7:40. When we asked the host about the delay we were assured several times that our table...was ready, the previous party had paid their bill and was preparing to leave. None of this was true. When we finally were seated I asked to speak to the manager. The manager only gave me excuses, no apology or understanding. The only bright side to this is the server and the food were wonderful. Nonetheless, we will not support a restaurant that does not value their clientele.More
We went with another couple... hubby & I enjoyed the black bean soup (best I’ve ever had) and the red peppers stuffed with spinach & topped with goat cheese... so delicious & that sauce was heavenly...I ended up sopping some with the bread. We shared...a small seafood paella which was chocked full of seafood and so tasty. We came away full and happy! Our friends got Caesar salad which I tasted & the dressing was very good, they shared the short ribs which had a beautiful presentation but looked tough from the fight they had cutting them. It was pretty loud in there, so no quiet dinner conversation. Will definitely go back.More
I made a mistake with my reservation but they accommodated me immediately. Server was super friendly. Good service. My food was just ok. Paella came out under done. They corrected it. Other menu items looked good. I will try it again.
I found this place to be great. Food and service were exceptional. We were staying at the Ballentyne Hotel and found this restaurant through Trip Advisor. It was also hopping for a Thursday night. I'd recommend reservations. Almost like a little "Curate" in Charlotte.
