We dined with another couple on a Saturday night at 6:30 and found the crowded dining area to be so noisy that hearing the person across the table was difficult. We had to talk loudly throughout the meal. The food ranged from excellent (soup) to acceptable (delicious shrimp and flavorless risotto) to poor (veal that was tough and tasteless). Homemade... My husband and I were passing through Charlotte and wanted a nice Italian lunch. After reading way too many reviews and getting overloaded, we decided that we would try Toscana. We didn't want to deal with downtown Charlotte either and this worked out fine. The greeting was warm and inviting. Bread and beans were brought to the table which was... More

This is a smallish place tucked away inside the Speciality Shoppes on the Park (across from SouthPark). I think I remember going to this restaurant (or one in the same place about 25-years ago). Decided to give it a try with friends during Restaurant Week. Our food was "very good-- not out of the ballpark-- but it was solid and... More

I love Italian food, it is probably my families favorite and I cook it a lot at home. This restaurant is definitely a favorite among my family thus far. Portions are a tad large in my opinion but the food is very authentic to Italy. They do not try to cover up the food with sauces. Highly recommend.

I loved the salad that I had and the bread was awesome. Beautiful atmosphere, but a little small. It's a bit pricey for lunch unless the company's paying.

The subject sort of says it all. I heard lots of good things about the restaurant and it didn't live up to it. The prices were a little high for the quality. Wouldn't boycott it but don't plan to go back soon.

Prompt and efficient service . The setting has been described as lively, loud is a more apt description . A good menu with ample wine choices . My mussels in a white wine broth were excellent as we're both of our entrees. Overall a pleasant experience.

We always go for Queens feast and my birthday. Love to sit outside, reminds me a little of Italy. I usually get pasta and no matter what you choose its always good. Love the white cannelini beans and bread they serve as soon as you sit.

My wife and and another couple had a fantastic dinner at Toscanna. I had a risotto special with crab that was incredible and my wife had a veal dish that was excellent. We a Pinot Grigio wine that was wonderful. Such a great place.

Awesome!!!!!! Loved my Italian waiter.. He was very helpful with suggestions. We had the calamari which was fried ever so perfect.. Our salads were fresh and cold. The veal Milanese was cooked perfect as was the Carbonara fresh pasta. To top it off the chocolate torte was AMAZING and the Crete brûlée left you wanting more. Great experience!!
