COPPER‏
Omb Copper Amber Ale
Alt (pronounced ‘aahlt’) literally means “old” in german, as in “old school.” in other words, it’s beer the old fashioned way. Technically, omb copper is an ale due to the type of yeast it’s made from (obergärig or top fermenting yeast).
Captain James Jack Pilsner
ABV: 4.8% ABV aptain james jack pilsner - a classic northern german "pils", this straw-colored lager is crisp and smooth, with a subtle yet assertive hoppiness that doesn't overwhelm your palate or the beer's malt backbone.
Spring - Fruh Bock
ABV: 6.0% captain james jack pilsner - a classic northern german "pils", this straw-colored lager is crisp and smooth, with a subtle yet assertive hoppiness that doesn't overwhelm your palate or the beer's malt backbone
Summer - Rein Pale Ale
ABV: 5.2 % ABV captain james jack pilsner - a classic northern german "pils", this straw-colored lager is crisp and smooth, with a subtle yet assertive hoppiness that doesn't overwhelm your palate or the beer's malt backbone
Fall - Mecktoberfest
ABV: 5.40% a classic maerzen style amber lager. The original oktoberfest bier and quintessential ueberseasonal. Rich and malty up front, which transitions to a smooth, satisfying finish courtesy of the noble bavarian hops and a flavor profile produced by an outstanding yeast strain from the oldest brewery in the world.
Thanksgiving - Bauern Bock
This holiday "farmer's bock", or country bock as we like to call it, will be sure to instill the harvest season spirit in you. A german-style doppelbock lager, bauern bock is rich and malty with a deep amber color to match the changing colors of the fall season
Winter - Dunkel
ABV: 4.9% this holiday "farmer's bock", or country bock as we like to call it, will be sure to instill the harvest season spirit in you. A german-style doppelbock lager, bauern bock is rich and malty with a deep amber color to match the changing colors of the fall season
Christmas - Yule Bock
This holiday treat is an authentic german-style "weihnachtsbockbock" (christmas bock). Its deep amber color with just a hint of holiday crimson is derived from a select combination of premium european barley malts

We were invited to OMB for our neice's Rehearsal Dinner last weekend. This apparently is a well known establishment in the Charlotte area. Very rustic ambience. We were located in a rear party room with plenty of space. We enjoyed several beers that had been...More

We ate here for the first time and the food was superb! Our waitress was attentive but not bothersome and the beers were cold and tasty. We were there on a Saturday night so it was very crowded The noise level made conversation difficult but...More

Great bratwurst and other German sausages- mit brotchen! We’ll be back for schnitzel, strudel, sauerkraut, and other delightful things which are rare in these parts. They also have burgers etc.

Ate here with friends before an Avett Brothers concert. Every meal looked great and we all were pleased with the appetizers and food. The copper ale was really good and I am not much of a beer drinker. You have to do a pretzel appetizer...More

This is a very large brewery/restaurant with many tables inside and out. The German sausages were right on time. The sides of sauerkraut and German potato salad were just absolutely delicious. The homemade pretzels were very good and warm along with German mustard. They have...More

Wow yummy beers and food! Excellent burgers and fries. Loved their draft beers! The only thing that we were disappointed in was the strudel was overdone. Service was super fast and I love how they have flights! I will be coming back here for a...More

It was pretty cold and all of the outdoor tables with heaters were full so we probably didn't enjoy the huge outdoor area quite like we would most of the year. I found the beer to be pretty good but very limited selection. I will...More

It depends how stuffy and old the people coming are. If you are relatively young and/or open minded, I'd say yes. Congratulations and have fun.
