If you're looking for soul food this place has it covered. Nice bar and lots of indoor space. Food is just what you want for southern soul food. Location in the heart of the city. But they are also helping the local community through job training, true food for the soul. Check it out, wait staff were very friendly &... More

It was a beautiful night and we sat on the patio for dinner. The service was very good but my dinner was very average. I had the Shrimp and Grits and it was way too salty as another at my table attested to when she got the same dish. What shocked me was that one of the shrimp was nearly... More

The restaurant is pretty and comfortable. The waiter was great and quickly served us. But the best thing of all was the food! It was so good that we were full and still didn't want to stop eating.

Each menu it has its own twist which makes it just a little different. So if you are tired of typical chain restaurants try this place. The mac and cheese is to die for!!! My husband had the Reuben and I had chicken salad sandwich. The Reuben was definitely different but very good. The chicken salad was a little plain.... More

Was in Charlotte for a client meeting and this restaurant was across the street from their office. We took a break for lunch and decided to give this place a try. The atmosphere is lots of light and clean. They have a nice variety on the menu and I tried the salmon which came with 3 sides. My sides were... More

We couldn't resist the fried chicken - it was delicious. Fast service, pleasant staff. The sides were all great, too. Go try it!

I had a craving for fried chicken and potatoes and this was perfect! It was right across the street from my hotel (Marriott). I called ahead and it was waiting for me right when I walked in. The choices of meat are limited when you order close to closing...

Stopped in for dinner and had the salmon it was very good. The service was great friendly staff and you felt as home. It is a place that is not only a great place to eat but it does it to help people. I loved seeing the cross in the kitchen and the scriptures on the wall.

I ate a wonderful lunch at King's Kitchen. The Southern Ruben was great. It was crowded for a Monday so I was seated at the bar to save tables for couples or groups. I would have preferred a table but I understood. I thought $15 for a sandwich and 1 side was steep but I believe their profits go to... More
