The idea of a not for profit restaurant is amazing. The food was fantastic, fried chicken, chicken panini and the kings burger were all great. The steak sandwich was a little grisly but overall a good meal. Love the concept.

I've eaten here twice in the last week, once in a large group, once with just my wife. The farm to table vegetables were cooked great and the salmon was the best I have had in a very long time. The drink selection was good and the banana pudding was some of the best I have ever had. On top... More

From what I understand this is a non-profit restaurant that provides employment opportunities to help people. I liked their concept and business model and the food is good. The service was amazing, much better than many typical places. Highly recommend.

Good thing we will be walking about town some. Burn up this yummy, big lunch. The menu looked so tempting. As a meatloaf snob, happy to report it was tasty and worthy with the barbecue sauce on it. #takeitupanotch Sides of sweet potato mash, peas and flavorful collard greens with surprise cornbread muffin. Spouse enjoyed the tomato bisque and pimento... More

A pleasant dinning experience with good selections of entrees, wine and appetizers. Service was very sharp and conversation was a bit difficult due to the enthusiasm of the room with great company and excellent flavors. The Pan Fried Chicken, Mac n Cheese, Butter Beans (in season?) and Biscuits are none better any where else. "Drop the mike" outstanding meal at... More

This is a great restaurant, delicious comfort food served with style. But to charge $1.00 per biscuit and corn bread is absolutely crazy!!! I think this practice should be reviewed and changed.

My wife and I stopped in during our overnight in Charlotte. We both ordered the pan fried chicken with macaroni & cheese, sautéed mushrooms, cornbread, and potato salad. Everything was excellent! I left feeling happy and uncomfortably full. We'd definitely stop in again. It can be a little pricey though.
