Went to the spot for Dinner while at nearby Conference. Staff very friendly and food was excellent. Had the Shrimp and Grits and it was very tasty. Having to pay extra for a tiny piece of dry cornbread was my only complaint. Would definitely go...More

In town for family wedding & restaurant recommended by cousin because she loved it. We loved it, too. Angela, our waitress, who explained the philosophy of this unique place, was personable and outstanding. Of course she hailed from the Tidewater Region of VA like us,...More

Visited on a busy Thursday evening. We started with the pimento cheese, which was great. I had shrimp and grits, wife had the vegatable plate - both were top notch. Maybe the only drawback was the dessert. We went with the carrott cake and it...More

I would definitely recommend Kings Kitchen for some upscale Southern comfort food. Pimento cheese app is highly recommended. Some of the best fried chicken and biscuits ever. Mac and cheese is also great. Desserts were huge. Fantastic wines at reasonable prices. A little mix up...More

If you want good food at a reasonable price GO here! This is an outreach to Charlotte's needy and promotes the need for renovation of the downtown Charlotte area. I promotes dignity for all. Mac and cheese and collar greens are to die for!

Went to dinner with a group after a business training event. All 7 of us had something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. Food was great and although our server seemed a but shy, he did a good job. Would definitely eat here again!

Yes, we had a group of 55 there once, but they shut down to the public that night, so be sure to call ahead and schedule the event.
