This amazing restaurant whose profits go to feeding the homeless of charlotte is comfortable, delicious and fun! The employees are attentive and professional. The Kale salad makes you feel like you're cheating and the salmon melts in your mouth! Truly delicious!

Shared shrimp & grits with my mom on my first trip (but difinately not my last) to the restaurant after a friend recommended it who has yet to try but has heard nothing but great things about the food. Was difficult to choose what to eat with all the options. My mom's first choice was gumbo but it included catfish... More

Last night was my third visit to King's Kitchen. This time we were celebrating a birthday, so I called ahead for a reservation for 10. I was pleasantly surprised to find that we had the small room to the left as you go in all to ourselves. This was the first visit for everyone else in our group, and they... More

I'm always looking for new places to eat and The King's Kitchen crossed my recent search. This is a not for profit restaurant located on the corner of Trade St and Church St in Charlotte, NC. I and a friend stopped in for lunch on a Friday at 12 noon and most of the tables were already filled. The restaurant... More

This is a local restaurant that is giving back to the community. Even better is that the food is good on top of that. Only open lunch and dinner, the menu is not huge, but the selection is diverse offering everything from grilled meatloaf to chicken pot pie to fried chicken. Lots of southern style side choices. I had the... More

Between the exceptional service and the mouth-watering, taste-bud-satisfying food, King's Kitchen delivers an A+ experience. I've been here three times and everything down to the green bean or side of peas has been, to put it plainly, So Darn Good! Everything is balanced and tasty without being greasy or heavy. Be prepared to eat well as portions are filling. The... More

The food was good but for the size and portion it was vastly overpriced. Also the drinks were not made well, we went late so maybe the staff just wanted to go home, they kind of hovered around and waited for us to leave and lockup.

This is a cool place downtown. They serve beer & wine only. I really liked the variety on the menu. Execution was just not great. We were there for business with a group of eight. My pot roast dinner with three side with three sides was AVERAGE. Small portion of meat, green beans seemed to be from a can, creamed... More

Food was outstanding. I liked that they feed the homeless from their profits. Salmon was perfect but it was a tough choice between the fried chicken and the pot roast Music was loud but they turned it down upon request.

The food was very good. I really liked the pan fried chicken and the Mac and cheese was beyond delicious! I also like that all the profits go to feeding people in the community. I would definitely eat here again

Thank Josh W
