Went here based on a recommendation from a local and got the salted caramel brownie. It was to die for! You've got to try it!

So excited going to go to a French bakery. We went right to the pastry case. It was difficult to pick out anything because there was a woman spraying cleaner and opening case to clean blocking our view. We waited as she cleaned all the cases in front of us watching her spray and wipe for about 10 minutes. Did... More

One of a kind experience with all of the different options Amelie's offers. The staff is extremely helpful in describing the pastries and offering opinions/suggestions. They have a great small wine bar too. You're missing out if you don't give them a visit.

I have very high expectations when bakeries will copy or recreate a common delectable from a foreign country. Well, Amelie's not only made a wonderful macoroon, they perfected it in many different flavors. The entire bakery is filled with the most wonderful treats! I recommend everyone check it out for themselves. 10 stars

We dropped in while on a food tour. Such a cool place! We had the spinach and leek soup (fantastic) and the salted caramel brownie. Such a cool bakery.

For NODA: This is THE place for late night hangout and best pastries / sandwiches in town!! Salted brownie is my favorite and I cannot stress enough on how awesome it is! They have these beautiful antiques around that can keep group conversations going :-) A must bakery to visit in Charlotte. Note: Uptown location is HUGE and equally good,... More
