Excellent Surprise

We drive to Jyoti's restaurant, our favorite Indian fare eatery, to discover it has been permanently closed. Performed a Google search for other Indian restaurants and the closest proved to be Royal Biryati. Most Pleasant Surprise. This is our new favorite place. The Aloo Gobi, we believe, is better than our normal go to place. Proved a most pleasant experience! Will definitely be going back. Given that it's next to the movie theatre proves even more attractive.

A jewel of a place!

I cannot express how grateful I am to have these guys in the Charlotte area. I haven't been to restaurants in a while because of the situation going on, however I was pretty sure it was better and wanted Indian food for a very long time. I've eaten at most of the restaurants in the area, however I wanted something that wasn't already tried by me, because I could always go back to those restaurants anyways. So I was on my way from work and found this spot. Took my my mask and went in. They looked packed, and I asked for takeout. The waiter was very nice and took my order when I was ready. I ordered a Jaduee Gobi, Kathmandu Chicken, and a Chicken Tikka Marsala with Butter Naan. Wait was considerable. 25-30 minutes and then I came back and ate it, and it was so tasty and amazing. I cannot express how good the meat to gravy ratio was to the crunchy yet appetizing naan. I will definitely put this on my go to list for sure.

High quality food cleanest Restaurant

Yumm-o! Try out the huge selection of incredible appetizers & entrees .We order Chicken Biryani, Sag paneer, jaduee gobi, tandoori Chicken and garlic Nan, Everything was just so yummy. Everything I tried was bursting with flavor. This is definitely a spot I'll be frequenting. Restaurant is neat and clean. keep it up.

Good food but not necessarily fine dining.

The food was very good. The service was good. I would not call it fine dining. But many people were coming in and out to pick up food and so I gather that people enjoy the food. We really enjoyed what we ate. We were very pleased. The restaurant itself is definitely not a fine dining establishment. Would I go there again? To eat their food sure. I might would take it out more than sit in though. But the young men serving were very good.

Tiny place, good food though!

Food is good. Some items were too spicy for us, but we should have been specific when ordering how hot we wanted it! service is good. The place is very very small. You'll be hitting elbows with people on the next table. If you're looking for a date/private kinda space, you won't find it here. take it to go...

The food was very delicious. Staffs were really friendly to me and to my friends. They really cared for us. We can see such type of hospitality in very few restaurants. One of the best restaurants I've ever visited. Chicken Biryani was the BEST..! I would highly recommend people to try it. Thank you again.

Best place ever!

I loved the Chicken Tikka masala and the Naan from here. I have been to several places and nothing tops the way these guys do it. The service is amazing as well and i've been coming here for the 6th time and it still is great and amazing every time!

Restaurant is filthy

I've been eating in Indian restaurants for 30+ years, but this restaurant was so filthy, it was hard to sit there and eat. There was a used napkin on the seat next to my chair, the tables had not been cleaned, there was a large living cock roach in the men's room (according to my husband), and there was a long, black hair on my plate. The food was good, but after seeing the hair, my stomach turned. Beyond disgusting.
