Delicious meat and more!

This is one of the best Brazilian Steakhouses I have eaten in. The meat is nicely seasoned and of course as plentiful as you desire. The salad bar includes smoked salmon, cheeses, carpaccio, soups and every salad item you can imagine. It's a meal in itself. But the star is the variety of meats... read more

We made reservations through Open Table beforehand. We were seated immediately when we walked in. The salad bar and variety of meats were amazing. Since it was my birthday, I received a free tiramisu for dessert. The manager was very accommodating and accepted a coupon that was actually only to be used Sunday through Thursday.

Last visit was several years ago, went this time during restaurant week. Very busy as we expected (we were a party of 6) and had to wait 20 min past our reservation time. For $20 off the normal price, this was not a big deal for us. The food and service were excellent. Our server was very attentive; constantly checking... More

My husband and I dined at Chimas on 1/29 -- taking advantage of Restaurant Week. We took advantage of the free valet parking as well. Knowing it would be very busy, we made sure to arrive early for our reservation and were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time (8:15). We were seated upstairs which is not as nice... Our company ate here for lunch while attending a conference. The food was really good, especially the top sirloin. I could have made a meal of it by itself. I also had the roasted vegetables, mashed seer potatoes, Asian salad and banana pudding. No one on our group was disappointed.

This is an all you can eat place.if you have a large appetite that's a plus. If you do not and or have children it can be an expensive place to dine.Plus, being uptown you will also need to pay to park. The food was good with a lot of variety. The staff was very friendly and attentive. If you... More

This should have been my third time dining with friends at Chima, prior times were a mixed bag, mostly attributed to service. However, we did not end up dining her as my friend noticed the sanitation grade of B , we later learned their score dropped even farther upon a reinspection. No thank you, it's obvious that the establishment doesn't... More

The misses had never enjoyed a Brazilian style steakhouse and we had the opportunity to go to Chima's in Charlotte. The facility is elegant, spacious, and very inviting with a huge fire place in the waiting area. The two story dining area is well furnished and the staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. We had an issue with a nearby table... More

I visited Chima's on December 18 with a group of 18 people. Our meals were very expensive, but the food was tasty and the service was good. What we didn't know when we were there is that the restaurant had been inspected that very day, and received a score of 74, a middle C! I would never have gone there... More

We went for my wife's birthday and had a great time. The decor/ambience is a lot of dark wood reminiscent of an elegant steakhouse. The service was first-rate, from being greeted through the completion of our meal. I enjoyed the large salad bar and the meats which the Gauchos brought around were okay for the most part; they seemed to... More

Hello, Chris! Thank you for taking time to let us know about your experience! We really appreciate it! Regarding the meats, our gauchos (meat chefs) can cook to order, meaning they can cook the meats to the doneness and flavor the guests prefer. Some people prefer a little more salty and others prefer less flavor so they can enjoy the... More
