Went for breakfast (weekday). ..should have know that this was not going to be good when had to wait 5 minutes for a table in an empty restaurant with music blaring from the jukebox, and employees just standing around. Finally got a booth, waited another...10 minutes before someone came, and gave a menu (utensils there but no water) Another 10 minutes before server came and took order and not telling us that an aside she recommended was an extra item). The 30 minutes or more for a simple order of eggs and a waffle. Another trip by a busboy for the syrup and salt and pepper. Of course, the food was cold. No sign of server, as we noticed that we had no napkins...the toast had no butter, and not served. Almost done with eating when the server came (too stunned to notice). Finished eating and waited another 30 minutes for the tab, but waving at the server, and walking up to the register. Sat down, and another 5 for her to come by, and then another 10 minutes to get the charge card back. But the kicker was, they were cleaning the table in front of us, and we had not even seen the charge card to sign! oh, and the meal...another greasy spoon restaurant, if that gives an idea of quality.More

Wish I had written this review sooner, so I remembered the name of our waiter; he was so cheery, funny, helpful and made our morning coffee and breakfast a wonderful start to the day. Food was very good, large plates, and something for everyone. Also...love that they take social distancing very seriously and everyone had on masks. Breakfast was classic and filling. Loved this place and the very cheery waiter! Thanks for making our morning!More

We had what you call and "All American" breakfast...Eggs, pancakes, grits, bacon and toast. Food was good, my husband loved the grits. Wait was a little longer than desired and prices were higher than expected.

Never coming back again! The meal was disgusting. The service was not terrible, however, the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and firecracker appetizer were terrible because a servicer package food while waiting outside of the dinner. The firecracker appetizer was cold when I received it. I wanted...a fresh spicy fried shrimp in a volcano sauce but I receive a soft and disgusting appetizer. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich was so dry and was burnt to a crisp. I am sorry to say this but, I would go to a fast-food chain instead of wasting money here.More

Food was sub par, breakfast was not real hot, biscuit was hard and coffee was burnt. Would not go back there.

Went this morning for the first time , 09-14-2020 had the waiter with the dreadlocks and glasses, black guy. , dont know his name because he mumbled it . When we asked for creamer , it took 15 minutes to get it, and when we...got it , THREW IT ON THE TABLE. Asked for napkins /jelly / ketchup ALL THROWN ON THE TABLE. there were some girls outside he was serving and trying to get laid by, kept checking her out and following her around when she went to the bathroom and not paying attention to his tables. had a group of his friends towards the back he was high giving and hanging with . I pray he wasn't the manager not sure tho. IF YOU GET HIM ASK FOR SOMENE ELSE, YOU WILL BE IGNORED! I am a HUGE tipper , sadly NOT TO HIM , I didn't tip a thing , maybe he will learn , I told the host because he was the only one visible and you know they talk , told him he was the worst waiter I have ever had and that if he was trying to get laid by the girls he sacrificed tables for it failed. he shall get another job , perhaps one were there arent any people.More

Fun brightly lit diner with Chicken and Waffles. Done! Good iced tea as well. Next time, I'll have to try the deserts as well.

Good place for breakfast. They are proud of their grits. Give them a try. Funky decor and the usual fare. Good carbo load.
