Jujube is an asian fusion (thai & vietnamese) restaurant that delivers consistently. It is small, so if make sure you make a reservation. The service is always well done and the meals cooked to perfection. The jujube pad thai, braised short rib with goat cheese wontons, and calamari are all tasty. Definitely try this place out.

An American chef's take on Thai and Vietnamese cooking. Every dish was well done and beautifully presented. I This restaurant presents the most exciting Thai American fusion food for many miles around. I it is certainly worth going out of your way for this outstanding gustatory experience. I I expected to pay considerably more for this quality of food. I

We went here for the first time for a birthday dinner. We dressed up a little but could have also come in casual clothes as others at the bar had done. Decor is nice inside and we had a quiet table. Server was friendly and efficient. Started with the chicken and basil dumplings; 4 per serving ($7). Generously filled and... More

This is an contemporary up-scale Asian restaurant with a very diverse menu. We had two types of dumplings that were very good. I had pad thai and my wife had gado gado (recommended by a friend who had recently had it in Indonesia). Both entrees were great. Quiet; very good service. We give this restaurant our highest rating.

Thank you so much for your kind review. We are so happy to have you and what a rare treat to have dined someone who could compare ours to true Indonesian Gado Gado! We look forward to having you here with us again in the future. More

The service is always great, as are the drinks and food. Sit outside if you can, it's really cute in the back.

One of my favorites in chapel hill. Don't have to be dressed up despite its trendy decor. Always welcoming and professional. My kids love it as well (10-19) although it is hard to get them past the appetizers. My favorites are: Mongolian ribs- spicy and tangy and ridiculously tender Flank steak is also a favorite although a little over cooked... More

I've eaten at Jujube's a number of times over the past few years. I am a big fan of Asian fusion food and I appreciate what Jujube is trying to do. Unfortunately, though, the quality of the food has ranged from pretty good to so-so. My most recent visit was definitely in the so-so category. I keep hoping that the... More

Had Dinner @ JuJube Last Night For The First Time. Different Ambience From JuJu Sister Restaurant - But Similar Menu Items. Everything We Had To Eat Was Very Good - As Was The Service. Recommended

It was our first visit and we were told they have great dumplings and appetizers. We agree on that, they were quite tasty. The butternut squash soup was a knockout. Our Kung pow chicken with peanuts should have been named Kung pow peanuts, veggies and some chicken, very disappointing. Ambience and service were great. Pricing was too high for what... More
