Good place for a drink. Especially if you're under 30. They make their own pretty good beer. They have a killer view from the outside patio. But God save the soul of the poor sinner who made their menu. It's all out of a bag or a box. Grrrr.

Top of the Hill is an iconic dining spot in Chapel Hill with a premiere spot on Franklin Street. Great beer list, great vibe. I love the wild mushroom grit cakes and my companions enjoyed the fried chicken.

The top of the hill bar and restaurant is as the name suggests, on the top of the highest hill of Chapel Hill. The same one the Chapel is on. Anyways, they have great craft beers, of which you can get a sampler through their nice beer flight with 6 glasses of 5 ounce each with different beers.

My son, his friend, and I went to this restaurant for dinner. You take an elevator from street level to the third floor. If you choose to sit outside as we did, you have a great view of the activities on the street below which is just off the UNC campus. I ordered the Thai Salmon. It was well prepared... More

I have eaten here at least 10 times. Love the whiskey braised beef and fried pickles. They have a fun menu. Great for groups. They are a brewery also.

This place is quite nice, in that it has an iconic view of Chapel Hill and University of North Carolina. It clearly is popular, and the meal prices are reasonable. That said, however, it is quite noisy, so detailed conversations is not going to be much of an option. The menu is quite varied, and has some things that look... More

Good appetizers and craft beers. Went there to meet our Unc student. Excellent location, great university decor. Chicken tenders and lizard chips were favorites at our table!

I really enjoyed the beer here and the atmosphere was great. It's a college crowd mostly. The service was pretty good and the food was delicious but smaller portions on some of the plates. I still enjoyed everything and will return one day.

Nice place on franklin. Top floor, never ate the food. The beers they brew were okay. Good location, but make sure you venture out from there to check out everything else that street has to offer.

We were there on a busy Friday night and got lucky enough to get a table outside overlooking Franklin street. It was very crowded and took a long time to get drinks and even a menu. We just got an appetizer because we were there almost an hour before our order was even taken. Great drinks and great views.
