We had lunch at this restaurant. The restaurant is comfortable. We had fried lizards as appetizer, fried chicken sandwich, chicken parmesan flat bread and beef salad. Fried lizards are sour and spicy. The food are good.

Living in Chapel Hill, we go to the Top of the Hill often, or TOPO as we know it. It is always consistent in quality and atmosphere. We always choose to eat in the outside dining area with the view of Franklin Street. Both of us have favorites, but the specials are always tempting. Highly recommend for value, great food,... More

Great food at this UNC local restaurant on Franklin street. It is not your typical brewery and has a great atmosphere overlooking the Main Street of the town. Pretzel appetizer was AMAZING and nachos superb, the home made beer was excellent!

My wife and I have eaten here four or five times over the years, and we're always impressed with the service, the setting, and of course, the fine food. You can order almost anything here, and yet still feel confident that it will be outstanding. The view is special, and the staff is both knowledgable and helpful. If you want... More

I loved the atmosphere and the staff! Really wanted to love the craft beer but I was disappointed the blueberry wheat had very little flavor and the old well white was just ok. I'm by no means a craft beer snob but my two beers left me somewhat unimpressed. Wasn't able to order real meals from afternoon menu so I... More

I took my family to "Topo" for a lunch and the food was very good. I especially loved the dressing that came with the Baja Salad. Very filling. They are renovating and it will be even better when its done.

We just spent the weekend in Chapel Hill for my nephew's wedding. Both evenings' events were held at Top of the Hill. We were all quite pleased with the venue, but even happier because the food was absolutely amazing. Generous portions, amazing taste and superb staff. We loved it so much that we all went back for breakfast in th... More

This brewery is very trendy and upbeat. We waited for 20 minutes before being seated. They brew their own beer and certain liquors. I had the house margarita and it was smooth and crisp. The food was hot and delicious, reasonably price. This is a must try if in this area. The parking is tricky to be prepare to walk..

We knew this was a popular location in the heart of Chapel Hill, and sometimes places like this don't live up to the hype. This place surpassed it. Of course the most important part is the beer. I ordered the Kenan Lager and my wife ordered a flight (!). The flight portions were substantial at 5 oz each so I... More
