We went in to get out of the rain as we were browsing Franklin Street. The beers were super good and we had the Sweet Potato Waffle Fries with cream cheese and jalepeno dip.

Recenty my employer was having a private party at the private area of Top of the Hill and I was coming from out of town. Called the restaurant to make dinner reservations before the early evening party. Was told "no reservations on game day." Local college was playing a meaningless game early afternoon. I explained my situation. Answer "no." I... More

We stopped in after a food tour to grab some wine and enjoy the rooftop view. We were told to sit and a waiter would be out to us. We waited about 10 minutes, but no one ever came out, so my husband went in and grabbed drinks at the bar for us. We were able to sit and drink... More

We went to TOPO for a birthday dinner. It was December and we sat out on the heated patio as the staff recommended that. I can see how fun it would be in the warmer months however since the windows are closed in the winter it was very loud, the tables were quite small and the chairs were uncomfortable. Next... More

My daughter wanted to eat here, said it was a nice place to eat outside. It was, but it was on the 3rd floor without a view. Building are growing up around it. floor was good, service was fast and correct.

Wide range of food to suit most anyone from steak to jambalaya. Great selection of beers brewed by them. Old Well White is my favorite! Busy UNC game days so get there early

I've had lunch, dinner, brewskies, etc., and it all depends on the day! That, of course, is not the best of recommendations. Still, TOTH is THE go-to place for TarHeel action. Geat ambience, fun bar scene, GREAT balcony overlooking Franklin Street. Have I mentioned food yet. Whoops!
