Tried this restaurant out with a few friends for the Triangle Dining Week, and they are definitely one of the tastiest places I've eaten in Chapel Hill, and I might even go as far as saying they could be one of the top eateries I've visited in the US so far. The beef was melt in your mouth type of... More

Well I went inside and outside the rib cage. The Turkish salad a must followed by calf's liver in an onion sauce started the meal right. The liver and onions theme must originate from Turkey. Growing up in the UK it was the poor man's roast beef along with tongue. Lamb chops next just outstanding all washed down with a... More

This being the first time I have ever experienced Turkish food I was quite surprised. The bread they provide in the beginning of the meal is really good with all the different sauces they provide as well. The main course was very good and desert. The decor of the place was really cool and the designs of the rugs were... More

If you have't tried Turkish food, Talulla's is the place to begin. The food is superb, with a wide variety of choices for all tastes and the option of outdoor dining in teh right weather adds to the ambience.

Great Persian food! This is a great spot for special occasions, but so delicious you will be making up occasions just to go. The service can be slow and pretty "hands-off" at times, but the chef is friendly and will make suggestions if you ask. Try the specials when they have them. The front window seats are fun but the... Our party of 6 enjoyed a delicious dinner at outdoor tables in front of the restaurant. They offer mainly indoor seating and a few outdoor tables. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The large menu offers great variety of authentic Turkish dishes, with many choices whether you are vegetarian or carnivore. I made a meal from two delicious appetizers: a... More

I lived a year in Istanbul, and developed a love for their cuisine. Talullas made me homesick: small and cosy, an environment which encourages conversation among friends over a delicious meal with exquisite taste. Start with a meze platter, or a plate of assorted cheeses and olives. The accompanying bread is warm and delicious. My favorite entree is the Iskendar... More

On one of the busiest nights in Chapel Hill as a result of graduation and Mother's Day, we had an exceptional experience at Talullahs, a Turkish restaurant, with great ambiance and a warm and empathetic staff. Our waiter, who could have been one of the owners ( he seemed so knowledgeable about the wine, the food and the area) helped... More

You've GOT to love new flavors and it'd help if you love meat/lamb. I love the ambience of this place. And the yummy food, even if it aint cheap! I'm particularly a fan of picking a bunch of Mezze's and just sampling everything. Also, be sure to try the Turkish wines!

Description
When you walk through the shadowed glass doors of Talulla's, an instant transformation begins to occur. Your mind and body begin to relax. Your ears pick up on the eclectic mix of music. Your eyes wonder around the walls, decorated in Turkish rugs; then the ceilings, scattered with warm, unique lighting pieces; then the floors... the dark, hardwood floors; and finally, across the plush seating areas, disguised by cushions and pillows and fabric leisurely draped around the frames.
