Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Great pizza and other food choices. Big selection of beer and wine. Pizza is a little pricer than your typical national chain - but its because they serve Grande brand cheese, which is a premium product. Outstanding ranch dressing for you midwesterners like me,

Based on a recommendation from a local merchant, we went to Slab Town Pizza. It was close to the resort where we stayed. Originally, we were going to share one prize, but we decided to get individual pizza due to our varied tastes. The pizza was amazing, with a thick but light crust. The toppings for everyone’s pizza were plentiful and the pizza arrived steaming hot. Everyone in our party thought their pizza was delicious.

We wanted a change of scenery in the time of COVID so rented a cabin tucked away in the mountains. This was a great place to pickup a fresh seasonal salad & pizza. The seasonal salad had kale, brussels, butternut squash, salami etc with an apple cider vinegar - delicious! Placing the order to pickup time was under 20 minutes and the staff was very helpful. We will definitely be back!

This is a great place for families! My husband and I ate outside on a picnic table overlooking a green lawn area between the pizza place and another business. We enjoyed it very much. Children from several different groups were turning cartwheels and playing with each other. Very neat!
The pizza was delivered to our table by a friendly server, wearing a now too common mask and placed on a rack for us to enjoy. He also brought our plates, napkins, silverware as well as Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes. We order a red sauce 16” pizza with red onions, mushrooms, Italian sausage and small yellow peppers. I did not like the sausage at all, or the peppers, usually mild but these were hot! The toppings were piled on 1 side of the pizza, and very sparse. The crust was delicious as others have stated. A 4 topping pizza and 2 diet cokes was around $30! A lot to pay for yummy crust and barely ok pizza ingredients. Enjoyable evening, but not worth the price....sorry!

This was right next to our hotel and was well decorated and offered outdoor seating and an extensive menu, so we were excited to try it. I had the meatball sub - the meatballs tasted odd and they were cold when they arrived. The server was not excited to take it back to heat it up. The rest of the family ordered pizza and said it was not great, they didn't finish it. No one checked on us during our meal. With staff training and improving the taste of menu items, they could be very successful.

We were traveling in from Florida about 7.5 hours and did not want to stop at a restaurant or fast food and stumbled upon Slab Town Pizza to place an order for pizza to go for a family of 4 so we can get settled in our condo. The service was great from the start. We ordered a pizza and mozzarella sticks and did not wait as long as we anticipated which was nice after a long day of traveling. The food was so fresh and had great flavor.

We ordered 3 pizzas for 6 people and literally had 2 pieces left!!! The pizza was amazing!! The ratios were perfect and we had people fighting over the crust 🤧. Luckily we ordered ahead as the line was out the door. We will definitely return the next time we are in town!

We were very pleased to find this restaurant open and just getting busy for lunch. They have a new entrance where you order your meal. Hubby got a calzone while I ordered the beer salad. We then walked by benches where take out food is delivered into the indoor dining room. We could have chosen outdoor seating, too. After filling our fountain drinks (they have a large selection of local beers), it was only a short wait until our food was delivered to our table. Flatware was delivered and recyclable plates for sharing
The calzone was hot with a tasty crust. My salad was huge for a half portion. Staff were efficient and pleasant. We recommend a visit.

After driving for hours in the North Carolina rain, Slab Town Pizza appeared like a hidden oasis. Despite an extremely packed parking lot, there was not wait while we placed our order. While half the family utilized the bathroom the other half refreshed our cups at their soda fountain with a multitude of various flavors. The food came out quicker than we expected. The pizza was easily one of the best I've had in over a year. The Greek Salad was fresh and tasted wonderful. Compared to some of the other local places, you are missing out if you don't give Slab Town Pizza a try.

My wife and I wanted a small dinner after we ate a big lunch so we decided to try Slabtown Pizza - we are glad that we did ! You order when you walk in and they deliver your food to the table a few minutes later. We ordered a Margherita Pizza that was outstanding ( I grew up eating NY/Nj pizza -so I am very picky ) The crust and sauce were perfect . They had a few beer selections on tap as well as bottled. This is a very kid friendly place and had TV's around the eating area to watch your team .

This food is average at best but the high prices make it worse. A cup of tomato soup was $5 and was barely a ladle full. The pizza had a bland and floppy crust. The cheese was obviously cheap and thus very oily. The meatballs tasted frozen and the calzone also used cheap cheeses that had weird yellowish liquid dripping out. All in all it cost around $70 for two calzones, two pizzas and two soups. I know there isn’t much in the mountains but pass on this place. Or just stay in and cook hotdogs instead.

We stopped by Slab town Pizza while staying a week in cashiers NC. and were glad we did Its not your run of the Mill chain Pizza place. From the moment we walked in you could tell that they were a step above very fresh ingrediants and good selection of local brews. we were there mid week around noon and they were steady with customers with alot of take out as well as seated guest.
the one thing that impressed us was that they were constantly cleaning and wiping things down they also were all masked for safety. They offered both indoor and outdoor seating

Ohmigoodness the pizza was delicious here! We called ahead... which was probably a good idea bcuz the line was out the door on a Tues around 6:30pm. I was able to bypass the line and pick mine right up. They have outdoor seating so u could probably grab ur meal and just go outside and eat it. They have a very wide array of toppings and other types of food as well. Best pizza I’ve had in a long time... crust tasted straight outta NY!

A 2 night stay to change the scenery and 2 nights of dinner at Slab Town Pizza. Outdoor seating, great COVID-19 protocol, wonderful food. (A bottle of Juggernaut Cabernet .....small beet salad, small house salad and a small pizza w/ onions, Italian sausage, mushrooms, pepperoncino’s was the perfect amount of food for us!)

Seriously this is a joke. We paid for a cocktails and our pizza. We had to go to the bar and ask for a cocktails after the pizza was delivered and never offered water. No one ever checked on us to see how the pizza was. I would never ever come back here again, the owners should be aware that this is not a cool place and if they think they can make it with this kind of service, then good for them but I will never ever come back or recommend this place
