I was so excited to eat here as I've been reading/hearing about it (and we're fairly new to the area.) We went with another couple for a nice evening out to catch up. We made a 7:30 reservation on Open Table, and got seated right away (beautiful). ATMOSPHERE: We were seated right next to two LARGE parties celebrating birthdays. I... More
My husband always comes here for his birthday because he loves the pork chops. Best in the area and he's tried a lot. I had the shrimp oreganato; delicious but would have preferred a lighter sauce for anyone looking for healthy fare. Think next time I'd try the grilled salmon salad.
This is a fairly good restaurant. We loved the classic bruschetta and chicken florentine soup. My main course was the filet and scallops and I wished only ordered the scallops dish. Dessert was a light lemon cake which was good. Our server was attentive and gave good recommendations overall. The room we were in is a little large and loud... More
Went with family and got great service from Zack, great lasagna and chicken panini. All tasty hot and fast. This spot is quiet so you can talk, highly recommend. Will be back.
Returned tonight to our favorite Italian restaurant in the Triangle. Lugano's is a very large restaurant with a beautiful upscale interior and friendly staff. The choices of fresh-made Italian foods are extensive and delicious. We had a crab cake appetizer, a fantastic large Caesar salad shared between us, and two pasta dishes, one of which was my favorite, a black... More
The service is always good. If you're looking for typical Italian food I wouldn't consider this the right restaurant especially the eggplant parmigiana which in my opinion is way too thick. I do love the pizzas, pork chops and shrimp dishes the best.
I had lunch with a friend . I had a salad and pasta combo. Not much choice of pasta for vegetarian . So the waiter suggest one of the meat dish take out the meat. The food taste ok, but the pasta turned out frozen peas and carrots and pasta. I will not go there again.
We are always very satisfied with our dining experience at the restaurant. We ordered a house salad, sherry tomato soup, Linguini Vittorio and salmon and shrimp Milanese. Everything was delicious as usual. The linguini dish was a bit spicy but perfect for my taste. The sausage and chicken were over-cooked but the pasta, shrimp and sauce were excellent. The salmon and... More
First time (12/10/16) at this highly recommended restaurant. Very disappointed. My Tuscan soup was warm and my Sea Scallops were warm and tastless; not to mention there were only 4 of them. I'm easy to please, but this really was a lousy experience and the food was nothing TO BRAG about. We were a party of 10 and we waited... More
