Are at this restaurant because it was rated the #2 restaurant in Cary by Trip Advisor. While it is a good restaurant it's definitely not the second best in Cary. Bosphorous for example is much better to me. Ordered lunch Fish and Chips. The fish...was very good and well cooked. They gave you way too many chips (fries) but they were delicious. Nice Irish atmosphere including Irish music. Service was very good also. I enjoyed my meal but won't be back. Irish food isn't very healthy and there are other restaurants that I prefer to eat at in Cary. I had no problems though and if you like Irish food it is a great place.More

I really loved almost all the food here, the bangers and mash and brisket poutine especially. Only knock on the place was the server forgetting items and never refilling water. He was nice, just a bit spaced out I guess.

So met a colleague here while on business he recommended so we met there. I ordered a Stella and as I did the Stella Keg kicked so I got a fresh keg. My beer was flat and not cold....so I tried a 2nd and it...was not much better. I also heard another customer who got a beer (didn't now the type) before he set down came back and said his beer was flat. I ordered the shrimp like croquette and it was very good. The sauce it came with was very good. I could only eat about 4 as they were very big and filling. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu. It was ok, the sauce on the top was a tad overbearing....like a creamy white sauce....The Cordon Blue without was tasty...I ordered potato croquettes instead of broccoli and they were good. My friend ordered French Onion, and Ham and Cabbage he said it was good. Again don't know that when Im back in the area I would run back. Had music in the backroom that was cool.More

Ate here while in town on Sunday and it was delicious. I got the veggie omelet which had a delicious hollandaise sauce...super yummy! My niece got the French onion soup and a Reuben which she said was fantastic. And they had an awesome Bloody Mary...bar! I recommend!More

Dinners are about experiences and good food. Make sure you go when the live Irish music is there…makes the place great. Food was very good…especially the Irish egg rolls. Bring an appetite, food is very filling…not great for those on a diet…but worth the splurge....Atmosphere makes the place…enjoy!More

Nice pub with nice environment. I had the corned beef with the cabbage. The beef just melts in the mouth. It was delicious and different. The wine was nice as well as the Irish baileys coffee. The bread pudding needed to be bit more moist....I was there about 4:40 so it was merely empty and not busy but felt rushed when I was given the cheque while even have not been even through half way my coffee in the glass and I did not even ask for it. It is not a good basic customer service.More

Excellent food. We had the shrimp hush puppies as an appetizer. We also had the French dip, the shepherd’s pie and the vegetarian Irish sandwich-the Donegal. It was all very good. The only complaint we had was that the beverages were placed in tiny little...cups-like 6 oz cups and were not refilled. Our server was not the best.More

Ordered online. Menu was easy to navigate and many choices. Good for meat lovers as well as vegetarian. Food was ready at the time promised, and well packaged. We did curbside. The person that brought it out was very polite and thanked us for supporting...them. The meal was beyond delicious and bountiful. I had the fish and chips and they were cooked to perfection. My wife had the Mahi taco's. Great meal! Will definitely be back!More

Brought my mother here for dinner and every single thing we ordered was above average. I had a boxty. I chose chicken and it was so delicious with its havarti dill sauce that I will order the vegetarian boxty next time without any hesitation. My...bf had the fish & chips with a light and crisp beer batter. Perfectly done. Healthy portions. Mom had the French dip which she enjoyed very much and it smelled delicious. Nice details like the yummy horseradish sauce and an ergonomic dipping bowl. The staff were courtious and worked well together. We had beer, but the mixed drinks going by looked excellent. Will try those next time. They have a pretty big outdoor area for those who want to stay al fresco.More

Doherty's is a very good restaurant, be smart and make reservations if you want to sit inside. Menu has a great selection and they do know how to make great food, appetizer of french onion soup and for dinner corn beef and cabbage. They have...a great beer selection on tap as well. Service was great, they do not rush you and we had a very good evening.More

but, having an absolutely incredible Fish and Chips last week, sure makes me wish EVERYDAY was a Friday during Lent. My wife and I were visiting friends (okay, we left home before everything hit the fan - so don't judge) and we learned that Dohertys...was one of their local go-to locations. So, off we went. And I'm SOOO glad that we did. First of all - we were quickly seated, and our Guiness arrived equally as quick. Perfect for a pre-St. Patricks Day gathering. Three of us had Fish and Chips, and one has the Fish Tacos. I can't tell you about the Fish Tacos, but the Fish and Chips - I'm glad I didn't have to share, because it was amazing. The breading was light and perfectly fried. The Chips were good - but the real start of the meal, the Fish. Beyond the breading - the fish was mild yet tasty. And if the fish was just one fish - we'll, they obviously needed a bigger boat I think we might be moving to Cary so we can visit MUCH more often. Many thanks allMore

A group of 10 friends met for lunch here. I might have preferred a better arrangement so that we could all chat with each other - however had 1 long table men one end and women at other end - it worked! There are several...choices and - plus daily specials. I ordered a half whiskey chicken sandwich with Greek salad combo - both good and they had $2 off a glass of wine that day - good deal! Salad was very good and chicken salad without bread better. Others had choices from fish and chips to corned beef and cabbage! It's worth a visit!More

Not that I've seen, but it's possible that they do. I recommend calling the restaurant directly and asking them. They have a restaurant in Apex and they have another one in Cary .
