Doherty's is a very good restaurant, be smart and make reservations if you want to sit inside. Menu has a great selection and they do know how to make great food, appetizer of french onion soup and for dinner corn beef and cabbage. They have...a great beer selection on tap as well. Service was great, they do not rush you and we had a very good evening.More

but, having an absolutely incredible Fish and Chips last week, sure makes me wish EVERYDAY was a Friday during Lent. My wife and I were visiting friends (okay, we left home before everything hit the fan - so don't judge) and we learned that Dohertys...was one of their local go-to locations. So, off we went. And I'm SOOO glad that we did. First of all - we were quickly seated, and our Guiness arrived equally as quick. Perfect for a pre-St. Patricks Day gathering. Three of us had Fish and Chips, and one has the Fish Tacos. I can't tell you about the Fish Tacos, but the Fish and Chips - I'm glad I didn't have to share, because it was amazing. The breading was light and perfectly fried. The Chips were good - but the real start of the meal, the Fish. Beyond the breading - the fish was mild yet tasty. And if the fish was just one fish - we'll, they obviously needed a bigger boat I think we might be moving to Cary so we can visit MUCH more often. Many thanks allMore

A group of 10 friends met for lunch here. I might have preferred a better arrangement so that we could all chat with each other - however had 1 long table men one end and women at other end - it worked! There are several...choices and - plus daily specials. I ordered a half whiskey chicken sandwich with Greek salad combo - both good and they had $2 off a glass of wine that day - good deal! Salad was very good and chicken salad without bread better. Others had choices from fish and chips to corned beef and cabbage! It's worth a visit!More

We went with my in-laws for my birthday and enjoyed the meal. They commented on it feeling authentic since they have traveled in the British Isles. The bourbon batter onion rings have light tempura-like batter and the spicy bourbon ketchup complimented it well. The French...onion soup was good, but not as phenomenal as another reviewer mentioned. The fish and chips has two huge pieces of good fish, but the green beans could use less garlic. The Reuben sandwich was huge and my 85 year old father in-law didn’t stop until he was done. The Guinness stew has excellent flavor but the meat was a little dry. Ask for some soda bread with it or you will have not hot soup up the gravy with. Finish it off with their good bread pudding and be sure to ask for extra whiskey sauce.More

My husband and I have been here with friends many times. Every dish we've tried has been fantastic, especially the Shepherd's Pie. The staff is friendly and I enjoy the ambiance.

Not that I've seen, but it's possible that they do. I recommend calling the restaurant directly and asking them. They have a restaurant in Apex and they have another one in Cary .
