Nice change

Good selection of Cajun and creole dishes. Great service and large quantities. A nice change from pub food at most places

Not from the area, and taking an out of state relative who was staying at the Umstead Hotel to dinner, we had to rely on reviews on the internet. Upon arriving at 7p.m., the restaurant had 2 tables eating and the bar was full. The music was heavy metal and so loud we had to ask to have it turned... More

I have been to New Orleans and I've tasted authentic LA cuisine and I must say that The big easy comes pretty close to nailing the authentic flavors and quality of food that NOLA has to offer. The portions are huge and the prices are good. A great place to go have a couple drinks and get some great food... More

Was recommended to visit the Big Easy when visiting Raleigh/Cary. I guess they should have been specific and told us to go to the Raleigh property which we later saw had MUCH more ambiance. And you will need the ambiance because the food was average at best. Lots of rice/filler. Had the sampler and everything was essentially the same taste... More

They've recently repainted the interior to a much lighter color scheme and updated their menu some... They have more rotating specials and added new desserts for those with a sweet tooth. A few of the good bartenders have moved on to other bars and restaurants in the area, but that seems to be the norm in this area after a... More

The atmosphere here is a little different than the downtown Raleigh Big Easy. New Orleans style cuisine is definitely on the menu, but the also offer a good selection of "pub" food. Sit in the bar area if you want to watch a game; lots of TVs. We decided to sit at the bar; friendly & personable staff; made good... More

They have a wide and varied menu. The ribs were good, but a little too much sauce. They were very tender and fell off the bone. Service was good. Atmosphere is more like a sports bar with a couple of TVs blaring and a good crowd at the bar. It was a little loud. Overall, not bad.

Had lunch here and was impressed with the selection. Jambalaya was very good and a good portion- had enough for the next day. Just enough spices! Great prices and staff!

The pretzel appetizer was delish!! The grilled pimento cheese with fried green tomatoes was awesome! This was our second visit and just as great as the first!!

We visited here because one us desperately craved a muffaletta and the other was tired of hearing about it. The Cary location has sort of a "rode hard" look to it, with courteous but slow service. There were, in fact, fewer NOLA style menu offerings than we'd anticipated, and in agreement with another reviewer, there was a food service or... More
