We came back here before taking in a movie across the street at the small city-owned Cary Theater. This restaurant is a favorite of the local Chinese community. They have a new menu that does not have all the dishes they can offer. For example, we did not see hot and sour soup on it, but when we asked, they... More

I come here regularly with my wife or with our chinese visitors and have never been disappointed. The food is great. I like the spicy ones, like cumin lamb (with szechuan peppers), beef hot pot stew, garlic green beans, woosie pork and lots more. This is not your typical american chinese restaurant. They have "real" chinese menu which can be... More

Wait staff was very attentive. The menu is extensive with many choices that would not be on the menu at a typical Chinese restaurant, the orange chicken was really tasty and had the right amount of heat. Can't wait to go back to try other things.

If you like authentic and spicy style Chinese dishes, this is the place. Szechuan type of food and some of Taiwan. They carry some beers, but I only had Tsingtao. Many local Chinese families and students frequent there. We usually go there 2-3 times a month. During the weekends, you will have to wait for a table. And service suffers... More

My family and I just moved from China to Cary and we have been looking for a good Chinese place. We finally found it at Taipei 101. The food is Szechuan style and is very good. We were the only non Chinese in the place, which is always a good sign. Although the food is still a bit Americanized it... More

The waitress came out with the order and said, "you are really going to enjoy this". I ordered 3 cup chicken. The chicken was stringy, cut up and full of bones, tough to chew, and was in a nasty heavy brown sauce. It was served with some whole cloves of garlic which were not cooked or roasted. Some stringy ugly... More

Hard not to order every thing on the menu. If you are not Asian you are the minority at this place. Had a language barrier with the waitress but she was very nice. Place is crazy busy and the food is excellent.

We had five entrees and two appetizers. The service was terrible. Multiple dishes that were excessively greasy. Very dirty bathrooms.

We came here before a concert at the Cary Arts Center nearby. The authenticity of the food is confirmed by the many young Chinese who frequent this restaurant. We had an unusual dish of Chinese greens in a milky sauce with pieces of what seemed to be ancient and black eggs - the latter not exactly to our taste, but... More

When looking for "good Chinese food" looked on yelp for assistance. Upon arrival, when ordered, took time for food to arrive. If food is top shelf, usually likely to overlook that, but food was lacking flavor, vegetables were soggy and ingredient's didn't taste fresh and no ambience for what is advertised as an authentic Chinese food environment
