Good dining experience on the screened porch. Seafood was fresh, staff was attentive even on a busy night. Decent selection of beer, better list of wines. Seafood was fresh and variety was good.

Havana's is the classiest restaurant on the island yet it is casual and dressy with both inside and outside seating. Located close to all the action but quiet, with good food, great service and a full bar.

The food is delicious, fresh and local! Thats what we wanted. Service is wonderful! We had a great lunch thanks to the food and to our waitress. We will make this a must stop whenever we are in Carolina Beach!

I had not eaten here in several years. My husband had fried flounder, which was a huge portion. His slaw was just okay. Needed something to perk it up. I had the Guinness chicken (similar to Alice Spring at Outback). It was really good. Often chicken can be dry but this was very moist and a generous portion. I wish... More

Very good. Short wait. Excellent waiter. Shared a seafood combo platter with catfish, oysters and shrimp.

We had lunch here on a Sunday but we didn't arrive until around 1:30pm, so after any big morning/lunch rush. The place did not seem overly busy to us, however, we waited about 20 minutes before our order was even taken, and then another 20 minutes to get our food and we only had a small order for 3 people... Went for dinner. We waited a bit, not a problem. My girls had chick/ fries, good. We ordered calamari, never came. We them had to cancel it. My husband had the Coca Cola steak , sounds weird yes, not a huge meat selection, it was way overlooked and dry. I had some kind of seafood casserole. Nothing to write home... More

Don't waste your time at Havana's. The chef (and I use this designation loosely) clearly needs to spend some more time studying under someone who knows how to prepare seafood. None of the entrees we ordered were worth finishing nor was the quality worth a fraction of the price. The abundant flies didn't seem to discriminate, though. We had a... More

We also were told there was an hour wait, yet there were open tables inside while we were seated in a screened "porch". Our server never explained the daily catch nor any other featured items yet the server behind us did an outstanding job. My wife and I shared a large fried seafood platter - shrimp and oysters were ok... More

We loved our stay at Carolina Beach, however we did not find a lot of good food on the island. Havanas was the exception! The service was top notch and the food outstanding! Do yourself a favor and don't miss out on this place! Save room for the Key Lime Pie too!
