We stopped for lunch as a good dog sounded good to both of us. I had the chili dog and my wife a Gouda dog. I had their homemade chips and my wife the fries. My chili dog was on a nice fresh bun but...had way too much bread. The dog was ok but it lacked the chili that I was looking for. The chips were ok. The Gouda dog could have been better if the cheese would have been hot and they used good Gouda cheese, it tasted like a poor cheddar. Overall we were disappointed.More
Says so on the server's t-shirts and it's true! These are damn good hot dogs and chips are a special side - crisp and garlicky, quite special on their own. They have a great selection of local draft beers to wash it all down and...the people watching from the bar is excellent. You never know, you might get lunch and a show. We did and it ended with a guy leaving in handcuffs.More
This was a great spot while visiting the Carolina Beach boardwalk. The pretzel rolls and beer cheese is delicious and the homemade chips are the best.
Great hot dogs! There are other things served grate as well. Appetizers were great, loved the pretzel with beer cheese. Would definitely eat here again.
We stopped in with our toddler for an early dinner. We were the only people in the restaurant around 5, but it was totally full when we left around 6. Hot dogs were yummy, service is quick and friendly. We enjoyed our cocktails too. Staff...was accommodating with our toddler food requests too.More
We stopped in to Nauti Dog’s while the band took a break from the Carolina Beach concert. The place was packed, but we only waited five minutes before getting a spot at the bar. My husband had the Nauti Dog (All beef Dog. Bacon. Beer...Cheese. Spicy Mustard. Pretzel Bun) and wings. I had the Gouda Dog (Beef dog. Brown Mustard. Smoked Gouda Pimento Cheese! Onion Straws. Pretzel Bun) and homemade chips. Everything tasted amazing! Neither of us could finish it - so big! A true highlight was Katrina who greeted each person like they were the only one there and hustled the entire time with a smile on her face!More
This place is nothing special in the world of hot dogs. Not a bad hot dog and sausage dog but 9 bucks apiece is one expensive dog. I think they charge this much because they deem themselves extra worthy being a boardwalk shop. Special is...more than a location by my standards. You must serve something special too. To their credit they can serve just about any hot dog concoction you can think of, and they also make home made chips. Mine were stale and cold. An alternative is available. Just two doors down the boardwalk is an old fashioned walk up outdoor food bar that serves hot dogs, hamburgers etc that are a lot less expensive but not so fancy. It's cash only, but you've got some cash don't ya?More

We visited at a time when there was much more traffic than the restaurant was staffed to handle. We, too, live in a resort town and understand these times. When an establishment experiences this, it would be helpful to explain to the patrons that there...will be a long wait and why. That way a 45+ min wait for food is more of a choice than an entrapment. Had this information been provided to us we might not have stayed but we also would not have been left with a less than experience. The food was pretty good but certainly not worth that wait.More

We stopped in for lunch on a Monday. My wife had the Carolina Dog which was very good with excellent chili and coleslaw. I had the Nauti Dog which was good but the beer cheese sauce was congealed. We both had the homemade chips which...were fresh, hot, and very good but a little salty. We also had a side order of onion rings which were very good. My wife had ice tea and I had two draft beers which resulted in a bill of $ 36. Service was friendly and efficient and the place was very clean. Good experience.More
Great selection of food. Of course mostly centered around variations of a hot dog. We had the Nautidog and Gouda dog with chips. We also had a few cocktails. Everything was delicious. Right on the boardwalk. Would highly recommend.
Nice meal right off the beach. Every kind of hot dog combination you can think of. Plain, with chili, or Chicago style and much more. I loved this place.
This is a small, lively place to get a variety of hotdogs. There is inside seating, with a few seats at the bar both inside and outside at a window facing into the restaurant. We both had NC dogs with chili and cole slaw, my...personal favorite dog. For me, the slaw was too creamy and mustardy - I like a more vinegar-based slaw on this type of dog. But the staff was super friendly and always hustling, in a very busy environment. A fun place to have a quick meal.More
Kicked off spring with a stop here on a Saturday afternoon. They were pretty busy and the staff hustled. But the food was not all that - especially for the price. Too much bread surrounded my dog and the house chips tasted like they were...fried in oil from 2019. Just a lot of money for a couple of hot dogs buried in bread and condiments and terrible sides.More
