Mixed reviews so I was surprised at the good quality of the food and the service. We were there on a Sunday evening so it wasn't real crowded. It is kind of laid back so don't expect 5 star treatment but the food was good and it arrived in a timely manner. The people that were super friendly and the... More

We heard that Old Salty's had moved from the boardwalk and had a great recommendation from a coworker, so we went looking for it at its new location. Not many people there at all, but it was a rainy weeknight. We thought we'd start out with steamed oysters and then decide if we wanted to stay for dinner. The (local!)... More

Got there right when they opened at 1130. Service was very good Salmon and tuna were both quite good - many beers on tap. Would not hesitate to go back

We picked this place because we had no clue where to go on our first night here. sports bar atmosphere. seat yourself. below par service (waitress used scratch paper, then forgot - twice). the food... well, it's certainly not anything to go back for. the fried food was very greasy and I'm not sure how it's going to sit. don't... I got grilled salmon and catfish. It was pretty good. Atmosphere was a little odd. No one under 60 except us. Seemed like a hangout for older crowd wanting to relive their glory days.

Ate here with 3 others. We got a variety of items, crab legs, steamed shrimp, fried seafood. The portions were good, food was very tasty. The crab legs were especially good. A good size and flavor. Service was very good also. Will definitely return.

Girlfriend and I apparently got there just after a large group left, and the group must have worn them out! The place was almost empty, but we stood at the entrance to be seated for like 10 minutes just watching the wait staff moving sluggishly around, not looking at us. Several couples in front of us left in a huff!... More

I went to this restaurant with 4 of my girl friends solely because they had crablegs and the Shuckin' Shack was packed. The experience was AWFUL. We were ordering drinks and dinner and thought it would be incentive to make some money. The service was terribly slow. We had to wait at least 20 min each time we ordered something.... More

We typically do our daily ice run around 4-5pm every day while on vacation. Go to a local joint and get drinks and apps. Got the peal and eats each day, crab dip, frog legs Cannot go wrong!Drinks were good (grand margarita's) and great beer selection for the specialty beers. Typically not crowded and service is quick and good! Did... More

Stopped in at Old Salty for an early dinner around 5:30. Seating available both inside and outside, so we chose to sit outside on their long elevated 'patio' area. Service was prompt. I had oysters and shrimp with salad and baked potato, and my wife had flounder and shrimp with coleslaw and baked potato. We thought the portions were good... More
