Its crowded so you have to wait on a table but its well worth the wait! Steamed seafood is always done right, and every time we're in Carolina beach we visit. As always delicious, and we'll keep coming back.

Good times good people. I wish they had more seating. Seems like the place is always packed. Always good service tho.

Neat atmosphere if you're looking for a typical oyster bar. Great place to get that beachy feel. Good beer/drink specials. I for a combo of steamed oysters, shrimp and calms. Shrimp was great and cooked perfect. Calms were ok but was disappointed in oysters. They were tiny and over steamed. If I were to return I would Specify lightly steamed... More

You can order the Oysters shucked or add to the experience and shuck them yourself. All of the seafood is fresh. They have a lobster roll that... More

Shuckin Shack is our go to place in downtown Wilmington and Carolina Beach. We love, love, love the fresh oysters on the half shell.
