Meal was wonderful, atmosphere was great, and the staff was very friendly. I would go back again next time in town.

I was staying overnight at carolina beach and the shuckin shack was recommended to me by my inn-keeper for really good seafood. She was right. It's definitely not fancy which is what I like and even better the food and prices were great. I got the low country boil and a beer for less than $20 and had leftovers to... More

We had lunch sitting at the bar. House wine was okay. Shrimp was fresh and tasty. I had Old Bay Shrimp, Hubby had Low Country Boil. We watched the NC State game. Place was packed but service was timely.

We were lucky enough to visit on lobster dinner special night. So good, we enjoyed raw oysters and a pound of old bay steamed shrimp. Best fresh seafood meal we have had in awhile. Great craft beer selections too, the UFO Pumpkin with the cinnamon rim hit the spot. Can't wait to visit again when we were in the area.... More

Freshest seafood! Large portions! Great, friendly service! Reasonable prices. Will definitely return to the Shuckin Shack, even if it's standing room only. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped in on a rainy night for some seafood and a cold beer. Nice local bar where everyone is known. A pound of Steam Shrimp with Old Bay sauce and then a dozen oysters on the half shell topped it off. Limited seating, but pull up a stool at the bar and enjoy the setting and food. Draft beer nice... Great food but small bar and seating limited. Shrimp and oyster are very good. Prices are expensive but what you expect

We went after labor day, the fish and chips were basically frozen fish sticks that were over done, the beer was cold , the service was slow but they were busy. We may give them another chance just because of the ambiance. Just don't order the fish and chips.

Service and food were great! We had muscles, crab legs, peel and eat shrimp and all were steamed perfectly. Staff were outstanding and hustled to satisfy customers!

This very little restaurant was loud and slammed pack, so we figured we were in for a treat. The problem is both the wife and I had the brilliant idea of ordering a Lobster roll at a place known for their steam pots. The spicy mustard remoulade covering the meat made this Lobster Roll just flat out bad. The French... More
