Watch those extra fees

I ordered a to go online, and when I got to the restaurant, they added an additional fee that was not mentioned when I ordered online. They said they always charge an additional 3.5%. I had already tipped them, even though it was to go, but I might not have done that had a known they were going to charge an extra 3.5%.

Overbreaded, Greasy, and mentioning the fees too!

I didn't like the orange chicken here as it seems to be way overbreaded and hardly any chicken meat. It was a waste of money. The rice was fine. The egg rolls that were included were fresh and hot but they didn't let them drain from the fryer. The egg roll just had so much grease in it that you might as well call it part of the egg roll filling. If you pay by credit/debit card China Grill will charge you a 3% fee of what the bill is. They don't want to pay the transaction fees to their credit card service provider so they charge you and call this their "convenience fee". I don't know if I'll return to this place and try something else or not.

Ready-set-chopsticks-go!

While smallish and with just a few tables, the China Grill offers a decent selection of the basic eight Chinese restaurant food groups: soups/ appetizers/ doctored-up rice/ chicken/ beef/ shrimp/ curry/ and fortune cookies. They adjust for heat per request. We ordered take-out by the number and phoned ahead for dinner, arriving just before the line formed at roughly five pm. I can vouch for the flavorful chicken curry and beef broccoli. The pieces of curry veggies were cut slightly larger than I prefer, and my wife expected more flavor in her spring rolls, but neither was a show stopper. Overall, my wife and I give the place a positive rating on our first visit, and we expect to return to sample more of the menu.

Dependably good food

Have been going here for years have only had a couple of bad experiences in that time and you could tell that it was a different cook at the time. That is not their norm usually they have very excellent food and if you want vegetarian you just need to tell them that you are vegetarian and they will make sure that you get what you want. They are always accommodating to any kind of special needs or wants, requests etcetera for food. And if you get a chance, try their Tom Yum.

Solid Chinese Food Option!

We tried a few different dishes and enjoyed them! It's nothing special, but they have a huge menu with lots of options and we enjoyed many things we ordered. Steamed chicken and broccoli with the garlic sauce was excellent. General Tso and Lo Mein also solid. We would happily order again if we're in the area.

TERRIBLE

At 55 years old this had to be the worst Chinese Food I have ever eaten. I took one bite and through it in the garbage. The Sesame shrimp and spring roll were just gross. On top of the at the place is very dirty

Hair in Our Food

Ordered take out and had a horrible experience. There were multiple pieces of hair in our food. So much we could not eat it. The egg rolls were dripping in grease and not cooked properly. We called to inform the restaurant and get our money back and they would not accommodate us.

Disappointing….

Being vegetarian I order with care. Vegetable fried rice full of Chicken. Very sloppy. Went straight into trash. Expect nothing better.

Rude!

Well I walked in & there was one man in front of me , so I waited at the counter until he was done picking up his food.The lady at the counter was putting food in containers , talking on the phone (her phone ) , got off to take a phone order so I waited....Another man walked in she asked if he ordered and he said it was sent in through text....she still has not said one word to me. She walked away a few more times and I turned around and walked out ...So it was just rude!!!

The 3 Q's

I finally decided to give in to my craving for Chinese food and thought I would give China Grill a try since it is so close to my house. I LOVE the fact that you can place your order online, although, to be honest I was a little skeptical. I had nothing to worry about. The online ordering was super easy! Now for the 3 Q's - Quick, Quantity, and Quality! Quick - I was given confirmation online that my order would be ready in 15 minutes- and they were putting the last item in the bag as I walked in the door. No worries about having to take something home that has been sitting around for awhile getting cold. Quantity - I ordered the sesame chicken and my daughter and I had enough for leftovers and I even put some away in the freezer to heat up as a quick lunch in the future. Quality - I cannot say enough positive things about the food. It was hot, fresh and delicious. You can actually see and taste the crab in the crab rangoon, the vegetables are colorful and crisp, the chicken was moist and not drowning in sauce and the egg rolls were stuffed full and not the least bit greasy. An incredible value for the money and the employees were very friendly. Will be back for sure!!!

Great House Lo Mein!

I live in Biltmore Lake and own several business's in the area and often call in and stop by and pick up orders on my way home. They are always nice, it's as clean as any Chinese Restaurant is, generous with their portions. I love their hot and sour soup!
