Great dinner. I ordered the senior oyster platter. It was a very generous portion at a reasonable price. Nothing was greasy but was good tasting. I would Highly recommend!

Perhaps it was influenced by the view or the company, but on this visit to Dockside the food was the best I have ever had here. Now, I'm not saying that it isn't always good, but on this visit everything was so fresh and tasty. This was not a particularly busy night, so we spent several hours eating and talking... More

This was our 3rd trip to Dockside and we have yet to be disappointed. We got there early (before 5:30) so there wasn't a wait (which was a first for us). We were able to sit next to the large plate glass windows that look out over the dock and the intracoastal waterway. Just a gorgeous view. The amazing view... More

A fairly large seafood restaurant, on the docks on the Intracoastal Waterway. The fresh shrimp and scallops were served hot and in ample portions! A nice venue, overlooking the shrimp fleet.

We visited simply because seafood hut was closed. Very disappointed. Not many customers as it was early afternoon. Only 3 of us an the hostess wanted to sit us in the middle of the floor at a table for 4. Since they were not busy we asked for a larger table by the window with a nice view. After the... More

We eat at Dockside regularly and not always the same experience. This time everything was perfect. Plenty for the money and well prepared fried Calabash style seafood. Everyone got something different and everyone was well pleased with their entree. I like the seafood platter and sometimes it is a little soggy but most of the time it is right on.... More

We made this our first stop to for dinner while in Myrtle Beach. The staff was mediocre. We had to get up and ask for refills. The food was a little soggy for me. I am sure during daylight the views are good. Overall just OK for me.

We've seen the lines for this restaurant during summer, so we decided to try it without a line in the fall. Service was fast and the food was delivered quickly. The senior popcorn shrimp platter was a gracious serving, but the baked potato tasted like it was sitting a while. Oysters were good. Sweet tea was good but the star... More

When I'm in the mood for a steak we come here because the owner buys Angus uncut lines and hand-cut them himself , they also have great Seafood and have a awesome View of the fishing boats and marshlands

Dockside is one of the older restaurants in Calabash, and it is a classic. Dated décor inside, but the food is delicious and the portions are large. During summer peak hours, Dockside gets quite busy, but you can entertain yourself by walking along the docks behind the restaurant, and watching the fishing boats come in. The service is always efficient... More
