We have eaten here twice. Both times the food was excellent! The owner and his wife are very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I had a vegetarian taco salad. My husband has had the rotisserie...chicken, yucca, a burrito and a taco. This is Spanish, not Mexican food, so it will not be the usual fare. I recommend it and we will be going often.More

Let me start off by saying I drove 45 mins one way to get this place. Big mistake! Terrible service, owner doesn’t really care about pleasing anybody. Chicken was seasoned okay but that was the only good thing. Order yucca as a side for my...meal and it came with 3 pieces... So I order a whole side for $4 and it came with 3 pieces!!! The empanadas were tiny for $3 a piece, everything about this trip was disappointing. Asked the owner if I could pay for extra sauce and he said why??? Lol save your money and go somewhere else!More

During the pandemic, we chose to order takeout or cook rather than dine in at the local restaurants, and MMM Que Rico was a favorite! Very tasty chicken and sides, good empanadas. Their yellow rice is delicious.

This is our “go to” restaurant for a Friday night takeout. Love the chicken burritos. Please know that this is NOT a fast food place, so be patient if you dine inside. All of the negative reviews are old; all recent ones are excellent or...very good. This is a small, family-run business that could use support. Give them a try for something different.More

Very much a family run restaurant, MMM Que Rico serves up incredibly delicious South American cuisine in a small friendly place. The chicken is absolutely fantastic, tender and seasoned perfectly. The empanadas are hand made and filled with flavorful beef and chicken. Just crispy enough...to need a knife but not really. Golden and beautifully made. And the plantains are just indescribable, made from perfect plantains. Sweet and not mushy with a touch blackened. It was soooo good, we visited twice during our stay in the area.More

The place is in Calabash NC that is a short 15 min drive from the north of Myrtle Beach, SC via hwy 31 and 17. You can call and order to take also. It is attended by the owners, that know a lot about Argentinian...and Peruvian food and flavors. You can order the authentic argentinian Choripan (brat sandwich) with Chimichurri sauce; which is delicious. You can order argentinian empanadas: meat, chicken or spinach, I liked meat the best but all are very good. You can order an argentinian Milanesa sandwich also. They also prepare a Pollo a la Brasa (peruvian rotisserie chicken) that is very very tasty. Overall, excellent food and service, a great alternative to N Myrtle Beach restaurants and very affordable.More

My wife and I have enjoyed Peruvian chicken in other parts of the country, and when we discovered MMM Que Rico was a short trip from where we live, we knew we'd have to give it a try, especially after reading all the previous TA...reviews. Those reviews were spot on. The eatery is small, with about a dozen booths and tables. As a customer, you make your selections from the menu items posted on the walls, and head up to the cash register to place your order and make payment. Though there may be a short wait for the food to come to your table, it is so very worth the wait. We both chose to have their quarter chicken portion, which comes with your choice of two sides. I had the French fries and plantains, while my wife ordered the fries as well and the fried yucca. The chicken is so very moist and flavorful and we both enjoyed our respective sides. The portions are a good size and everything tasted very fresh. The restaurant is kept very clean and so are their bathrooms. If you're in the Calabash are, make sure to give MMM Que Rico a try -- you'll be very glad you did. Highly recommend.More

We discovered this place last August. The chicken is so moist and tasty. Everything is great. Just too pricey and the wait is long, but worth it. Laborers at lunch and suburbia at night.
