Nothing exceptional compared to the other Calabash Seafood restaurants, but still good. We have tried them all, and Captain Nance's is about the same quality as the others. If the wait appears long, try any one of the others on the waterfront. If you enjoy...More

Fried shrimp was the best. Hush puppies too sweet. Slaw not good. Aviance none. Drive from myrtle beach - not worth the drive. Price reasonable for seniors.

The seafood platter was absolutely worth it with 5 different types of seafood. The shrimps was so fresh and crunchy! The scallops were soft, juicy and plump! I love the flounder! The clam chowder was average.

Love this place. Come every time I'm down here. I always pay the up charge to have my fish broiled instead of fried. It's seasoned perfectly.

I don't recall any mention of it being gluten free. Maybe you should call to be sure before going.
