This tea house is the best in NC/SC area. The staff is all very friendly, the atmosphere is warm, with hats, boas and gloves available to make the whole experience an authentic tea party. Food is fresh, all homemade and delicious. Make reservation!

If you want a change of pace, relaxing time while at the coast give them a try. For added fun wear your own hat or select one of theirs. They even have boas. My husband and I enjoyed our "high tea". Their little ribbon sandwiches are a fun addition to the typical tea fare and their selections of teas is... More

What an amazing visit to the Calabash Garden Tea Room! I went with my mother-in-law and my daughters and we had a great time! The hats and boas in the mini dressing room are so cute and occupied my children. The food was delicious as well! The teapots and various tea options were exquisite! The staff was very friendly and... More

I stumbled across this lovely tea room by chance during a Christmas visit to nearby Sunset Beach. Although they were closed for the holiday, I emailed to inquire about a reservation and the owner, who was away visiting family, quickly responded and arranged my reservation. She was so gracious and friendly, and stopped by my table to say hello during... More

A delightful place to have a fun girls outing. First visit the hat room and select the perfect hat. Amazing selection of teas. You must try the strawberry soup. The selection of sandwiches, scones, and desserts are to die for. My BFF and I will return again next year when we have our "girly week" in the Myrtle Beach area.

The Calabash Garden Tea House is the ideal place for afternoon tea! There is always a great variety of pastries and tea. Little girls often want their birthday party at the tea house. The friends can come to the party, all dressed up in their frilly dresses and long-sleeved gloves. Good for a rainy day!

My wife and I have been to many tea rooms and this one is the best. Everything about it is just right from the setting, to the service, to the food. Get the ultimate tea and add the tomato soup. You will be glad you did. A great treat and not just for women. I loved it.

I went yesterday with a girlfriend for tea. I've had this place on my radar for over a year, but hadn't had the chance to go. We live in Myrtle Beach, so it's a short trip "across the border". We have done many teas & were truly excited to come here. The tea room is small & very quaint! Just... More

What a quaint spot, and a worthy experience! They use Bone China cups, saucers and dishes. You begin with a pot of tea, then a salad. They then present a three tier plate with sandwiches, scones, and sweets. The staff is extremely friendly as well as the owner Kathy. I highly recommend it! Enjoyed my time with four other ladies...
