The parking lot is always full. Went in for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to find an entire donut shop, too!!! Their breakfast biscuit egg sandwiches are HuGe and delicious. Okay coffee, but no tea. Make sure you bring your own tea. Fresh donuts are fabby. Donut holes, too!

This place came well recommended so we decided to give it a shot. The food was delicious and we truly regretted not trying the Apple Uglie. They sold out while we were eating breakfast....you snooze you lose. Get them quickly. Food was very good and service was fast. Pastries/Donuts looked delicious too! This place is very popular and closes early... More

The apple uglies are amazing. I read somewhere that they are apple fritters on steroids. A perfect description as long as "on steroids " is a good thing. They are over the top large. If you eat the whole thing, you will likely need a nap. My wife says there should be more apples. Maybe so, but they are really... More

Without a doubt, the Apple Uglie is the most unctuous and delectable fritter on Earth. Eat it all and defy common sense. Share it with about three other mere mortals and live to buy it again. Fabulous.

Disappointed give the accolades, the house specialty, the Big Ugglie, is really just an sugary fritter on steroids. Went back a second time and had to wait over a half hour for a breakfast sandwich which was improperly balanced re meat/egg ratio. There wasn't even that long a line.

Their homemade baked goods are the bomb! You will need to get there early because they sell out fast. The "Apple uglies" are fantastic.

Best Apple fritter in the world! Definitely worth the stop in Buxton. They are big and ugly but so tasty!

Best apple uglies ever and so is everything else - always stop here and would drive out of the way if ever in the Outer Banks to get their delish pastries. This place is a staple and would be a sin to not stop and indulge - probably good thing I only get it here every few years or I... More

Undoubtedly the best bakery I have ever been to! Definitely try the apple uglies (kind of like a fritter - but the size of your head!), chocolate muffin (SO GOOD), and the homemade biscuits. They also sell day old items for cheaper. Get there early (they open at 6:30 AM) to guarantee getting what you want. We were only in... More

OMG...if you have not been to the Orange Blossom when you are in Buxton on Hatteras Island...you MUST! It's divine! The Apple Uglies are so delicious you absolutely have to try it. They have other pastries and several breakfast sandwich options. All their bakery goods are homemade. I overheard someone working there telling the folks in front of me in... More
