Slow service...Very disappointing

We used to LOVE this place.... food and service both were great. The past few years, it has taken a turn for the worse. Sanitation rating is currently a 91. They have a help wanted sign on the front window. Service is slow.... very slow. We waited over 35 minutes for our food. It was crowded, but the take out part of the restaurant seemed to take priority over seated customers. Jerry was our server, was nice but very busy with take out orders.

Shrimp was awesome

First time visit to this establishment. I had the chicken tempura with vegetables and the hubby had the hibachi steak and shrimp. The shrimp were some of the best I have tasted locally. Next time I’m going for the hibachi shrimp plate. The tea was good and sweet just need bigger glasses for my crew. We will definitely be back here for Japanese.

Tried Harusaki Rest. in Burlington. Ate inside at a booth. Menu and choices excellent. Over course of meal, upright booth got to be untenable on back. Not a dining experience with somewhat noisy atmosphere. Wife ordered Thai Curry and I ordered mango chicken plate. Thai curry was somewhat too spicy and not near delicious of Tasu in Briar Creek. Mango chicken plate had a lot of nice vegetables and chicken, but no flavor as a dish. Opinion: perhaps a new replacement chef, because I could get the ingredients and put them together on a plate, and I do not cook. Overall, not a good dining experience. Would not recommend under any circumstance..

We love getting take out. I order the steak & fried rice teriyaki. Great portions. I always have so much rice I can make another meal. The little side salad is mostly lettuce which is my favorite & they have good ranch dressing. My daughter likes the chicken with fried rice & she chooses which veggies she wants. Very good food for reasonable prices, generous portions, & nice customer service.

Terrible service. Asked for extra ginger sauce and the smart butt little boy brought two bottles of the same sauce. Felt like I was being stalked during the entire meal. Thought one of the waiters was going to look at a picture I was showing my friend on my phone. The waiter that took our order would not let us order what we wanted. Basically told us we would not like it even they we had ordered it several times before. They then had the nerve to double charge our credit card. Won’t be back.

THE RUDEST

This was my very first and LAST visit to this establishment. My family and I were looking for a new place to dine for some authentic Asian food. We ordered takeout. I had the shrimp fried rice which was actually good. My daughter had the steak fried rice which was void of steak! When we got home and took our orders out there were only bits of steak which totaled maybe 4Pcs. When my daughter called to complain the manager was rude to the point of being belligerent stating that my daughter was lying because he had fixed it himself and that his restaurant had never had a complaint since being in business! When I called back to try to explain to him the situation he told me to hurry up and get to the point because he didn’t have all day! WE WILL NEVER EVER SPEND MONEY IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN! RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MADE US FEEL LIKE HE DIDN’T WANT OUR BUSINESS! Save yourself the frustration!

So sad to tell you I had a very bad experience at Harusaki tonight. We on an average order from there once a week every week for a takeout dinner. Tonight we ordered our usual, but the person on the other line misunderstood what we wanted to order and I when I went to pick it up, I told them it was wrong. We order the special steak hibachi and the chicken hibachi. They accidentally did some kind of steak dinner that was $15 and the steak special that we always order is either seven or eight. So, instead of just offering that to me and charging the lower price which I said would be fine, the manager came up and would not allow it and said I would have to wait another 15 or 20 minutes for the other to come out. It upset me so I called back to let her know and tried to tell her that we are regular customers and that it really disappointed me and she started talking over me and said she couldn’t do that. Well, I will never spend another dime there. And I hate it because it is one of our go to places. Customer service, not their strong point!! Village Grill I’m pulling in!

First time eating here on Tuesday and it was really good. Great quiet calm atmosphere around lunch time. Lunch is from 11-4 so last longer than most restaurants so you are able to take advantage of specials and cheap prices. It was yummy. Orange chicken was cooked way too hard for me but shrimp hibachi was the best! White sauce is the best! Rice is amazingly great! and vegetables are yum yum

I found this place on Google when I wanted Japanese food, and am so glad I decided to go. I've been here on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed by the food. It is made authentically, in a timely manner, and is always a decent price. It will definitely satisfy you.

Weekday dinner with family, a first visit for all of us. Waitress must have been new, because she could not answer simple questions regarding the menu, which is a problem for a first time guest. This place does an amazing take out business, but not many people eat in. None of our dishes were worth writing about, but I will say we did not try the sushi which is what they seem to be known for. Just average to below average food and bad service. We will not return.

The sushi is the best in the area by far. The staff is always friendly and the owner is amazing. If you are not into sushi, don't worry, their full menu that includes Japanese and Thia favorites is sure to please. This is our go to place in Burlington.

The appetizers and sushi always amazing. The owner and her staff always take best care of my family and friends. She remembers our favorite meals. Always recommended to try something new or surprised with extras. Everything soooooooo fresh with good flavor. Best options of saki like apple, peach, lychee and raspberry. And more, price so affordable.

Terrible customer service

My wife and I have given this place multiple attempts. The wait has ALWAYS been long but this last time was the final straw. I am not one to complain or write bad reviews on a place because I know how busy it can get. We put in an order around 5pm and got confirmation that our order would be here around 615. Well I waited till around 7 before I called. They told me that I was wrong and that I requested it be delivered at 730. I have email confirmation saying otherwise. Come to find out they mixed up the delivery with someone else. I was told the entire time I was on the phone that someone would call me back ASAP. They never did. I even drove to the place to figure out what was going on, and they told me to just hold on and that they have not even started our order yet. Both my wife and I called (no angry just trying to figure out what was going on) and were lied to saying it was on the way when our order had not even been prepared yet and that the driver would call us and never did. Finally around 845 pm we received our food. I called them back to figure out what happened and I was told to hold and then said I'd receive a call back. I never did. So I called them and argued with a "manager" and she told me there was nothing that could be done. She cut me off multiple times and kept on thinking I was a different person from a different address. I even gave her my confirmation number from the order number. Overall DO NOT order from here we have given them multiple chances and it has always turned out awful.
