Generous breakfast portions, as well as the ability to order a lighter meal / from the sides. Service outstanding, very friendly, great vibe. Perfect country / Grandma-cooking type of food, it made our hearts so happy. Must try: the Corned Beef Hash!!! Delicious.

Rainy day on Saturday at Bryson city so I stopped here for lunch. Quaint little local café, good but not excessive menu items. We had a combination of club sandwich, patty melt And veggie burger. Overall the food was good and the service was very...good.More

Lunch was delicious. The club sandwich was huge and tasty. The chicken tenders were large and juicy. The staff was very attentive. Always a great choice when we are in Bryson City.

Everett Street Diner has been one of our favorite breakfast destinations since we began kayaking the Bryson City area. Last Sunday while on our latest trip there we stopped in on Sunday morning for a hearty breakfast and some coffee. The weather forecast was ominous...that day and didn’t disappoint. Our waitress, Beverly, had just delivered some good hot coffee and taken our order when what seemed like a hurricane hit. The wind blowing outside on Everett Street was amazing and the rain blowing horizontally. A few moments later ... blink, blink, and suddenly the power was out. We figured our breakfast was a loss but we would sip good coffee and wait out the weather. Imagine our surprise when Beverly showed up shortly with our food. She said we had gotten our order in while the stove was still hot and we couldn’t have been more tickled. What an awesome meal. I enjoyed the pancake combo while my wife had delicious French toast and eggs. We felt for the people who arrived late seeking shelter out of the weather as the power hadn’t been restored as we left. While we had been waiting, we couldn’t help but notice a picture on the wall of a beautiful waterfall. My wife asked Beverly about it and she told us it was Mingo Falls in Cherokee and how we could get there. She also suggested we visit Soco Falls and gave us directions there as well. Once the weather let up, we visited both and with the rain both were beautiful. Again, we can’t say enough good things about the wonderful food, good service, and friendly staff (especially Beverly!) of Everett Street Diner. Highly recommend!More

A lot of places in this town were closed on Sunday, but this place was open! We enjoyed the soups, sandwiches fries and onion rings. Friendly staff. The desserts looked good, but we were too full!

My husband and I decided to take a day trip to Bryson City and had lunch at Everett Street Diner based on the glowing Trip Advisor reviews. Please...don’t make the same mistake. We ordered two simple dishes - philly cheese steak with onion rings and...the fish and chips. The hoagie roll for the philly cheese steak was tasteless and stale. The filling had absolutely no flavor. The onion rings as well as the cod were fried in old , dirty oil which accounted for their very dark, oily appearance, taste and texture. The cod had a very fishy smell and an unappetizing texture. In fact, after two bites of the fish, a couple of fries and an onion ring, I became so sick to my stomach I couldn’t eat another bite. We are not the kind of people who complain to our servers or send food back. We just pay for the meal, leave and just never go back. An older gentleman brought my cc receipt and picked up our plates. Under his breath and mask he said,”All that work just to go in the garbage.” Never asked us if there was any issue with the food...go figure.More
