So good we ate there twice in 24 hours!

I saw that this restaurant had great reviews, so we chose it for lunch and breakfast the next day. I could tell the locals eat there, which is always a good sign. I loved the chicken and wild rice soup and half-sandwich for lunch, and they have awesome biscuits-n-gravy for breakfast! Country ham... read more

8 to 10 people waiting at the door to be seated and 8 to 10 open tables, and yet not one single employee acknowledged our presence. Finally the customers waiting to be seated just sat themselves. Staff acted as if we were an inconvenience to them. The food was decent, once we were waited on and served, and was a... More

On Christmas Eve, we came for a late breakfast at 10:15am, and we just made it as they switch to lunch at 11:00am. It is a little small, and I can bet it gets crowded in season. The servers were friendly and attentive. The food was very good and the price is very reasonable. I will go back there next... More

The resturant serves breakfast and lunch. We had breakfast, thought it was really good. Make it all from scratch. Could tell a lot of locals frequent it. Wait staff friendly and nice.

Our family of 10 people went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. They had just seated several tables of people but brought us some coffee and tea outside where we were waiting. We were then seated together and ordered. I had the special, which was the french toast with blueberries and strawberries in a raspberry sauce. It was excellent; not... More

We stayed in Bryson City for five days and had breakfast here every morning - that says it all. You've got to try the sausage gravy and biscuit combo - it was delicious. Friendly staff made you feel so welcome and the quality of the food was excellent.

It is a must for our family to stop here before heading home. We visit at least once a year sometimes twice. This year was much better with service. It's always good but this year was over the top. Our coffee was never empty and the best part was the food. This place is always busy (that must be a... More

We ate there on our way back home. We have eaten there for a couple of visits and the food has always been good, but this year the service was outstanding. There was a gentleman who met us at the door; saw to our every need; refreshed our drinks; checked on us as if we were the only customers; got... More
