FYI: Make reservations far in advance. Inside service was 6 tables (do to COVID-19 restrictions and staffing), and the outside patio had about the same number of tables. All of the tables were set up beautifully with white table cloths, fresh flowers and a carafe...of cold water for each table. We were there on a Sunday night and one of the specials just happened to be Prime Rib. Unfortunately, our reservation was a little later in the evening, and there was only one special left. We purchased one small side Caesar salad and one mixed green salad before our main course. Both had very fresh ingredients, and the dressings were delicious. My prime rib was a large slice, cooked perfectly and served with two separate sauces (which I ordered on the side), creamed Yukon Gold potatoes and a green vegetable. My husband ordered the bacon-wrapped Filet Mignon which was also cooked perfectly. It also had the same potatoes and he opted for my same green veggie in lieu of the asparagus. Looking around at the other tables, everyone seemed to be enjoying what they had ordered, and were cleaning their plates as we were. We couldn't leave with trying one of their desserts. We opted for the large vanilla ball of ice cream surrounded by chocolate and drizzled with a coffee/chocolate sauce. It was truly delectable and a great finish to a wonderful meal! Our server, Kira (who wears many hats there between the hotel and the Bistro) could not have been nicer and gave us GREAT service. Kudos to Kira!!!More

Made a dinner reservation one evening at The Bistro during our stay at The Everett Hotel. Wish we would have made more! The food here is excellent, the best in town! I had the scallops special, and my husband had the salmon. Not only is...the food delicious, but the wait staff are extremely friendly. They are always busy, so be sure to make a reservation!More

We enjoyed a delightful meal on the patio. The food was very good, and the service by Sierra was excellent.

Beautifully restored older building with ambience and soft music. Caring, efficient and professional service. Reasonable pricing. Very COVID conscious with masking and distanced tables, as well as complete sanitization of dining spaces. 4-5 outside dining tables. Outstanding crab soup (but very rich), very good brussels,...and the most deliciously prepared trout! Will reserve a table on our next trip!More

We decided to take the bait for this being the best restaurant in Bryson City and came away agreeing with everyone. Make sure you get reservation and make sure the end your meal upstairs at the rooftop lounge area. Great place.

Although the food was good, nothing about our evening met our expectations. The room we ate in was noisy & didn’t look like the picture. Since we were celebrating our anniversary, we wanted it to be special. They overcooked our filet so they had to...start over. They brought our Caesar salad after we had eaten half of our entree. They brought my husband’s merlot after we had eaten most of the meal so he sent it back. The only compensation they made was removing the sharing meal charge ($6)…not much compensation for all that occurred! Would not recommend!More

A delicious dinner of trout cakes with remoulade sauce (kudos to the excellent remoulade - we're from New Orleans) and cornmeal crusted trout. We sat outside on the little back patio which was pleasant. Good wine selection and good service - thank you, Sierra!

This was our first trip to The Bistro. I made reservations to sit at the bar for my husband and me. We walked in and realized that we were the only people seated for the bar and it was perfect! the bartender was great and...our dinner was delicious. My husband ordered the meatloaf and I had the special which scallops. Our evening was perfect and I look forward to our next trip to Bryson City.More

The Bistro was a real find, the ambiance of this originally built bank in 1905 and converted into a hotel/bistro, was wonderful! James greeted us at the door and Cara was a fabulous server. The food was wonderfully prepared, plated beautifully and delicious. The dessert...we had was to die for, vanilla ice cream ball rolled in slivered almonds and topped with restaurant made chocolate sauce, yummy!!! Would highly recommend this restaurant but be sure to make reservations, they can't accommodate a large number of diners because of the safe spacing placement of the tables due to covid. Enjoy!!More

The Bistro (downtown Bryson City) is probably considered fine dining in Bryson City. If the restaurant was in Asheville NC..."up-scale...in L.A..."local cafe." Party of 4 ate here late summer '18. All of us gave this... More

Not sure but the owners are very nice. I bet if the city, county and state allows they would let you. We stayed at the B&B connected and ate most of our meals there. It was wonderful.
