You can tell they are understaffed. I felt bad for the waitresses that had to wait tables and hostess. Service was slow. Others in my party enjoyed their burgers, but my chicken sandwich tasted like it was fried in old oil.

Being basically ignored by the waitstaff, mediocre food that was overpriced...plus loud, annoying music and a ladies bathroom with a NASTY, dusty gas station flower arrangement all made this a hot mess I can’t wait to not visit again.

The waitresses were friendly and we had good service. But the food we had was not very good. Philly steak sandwich and chicken parmigiana sandwich just were not good. The chicken was tough and had a lot of gristle. The potato skins were okay and...More

Arrived about 7 for dinner. Busy time. No receptionist to greet or acknowledge arrival. After initially feeling ignored, a server did bring us to a table. Service was courteous but on the slow side. Orders arrived well prepared and tasty. Salad was average, iceberg lettuce....More

We've been going to Jimmy Mac's for at least four years; we look forward to their family-friendly atmosphere, their cold drinks and their amazing seafood! Don't miss this place; come early!

Busy but over priced for what you get. Will not return. Generally small portions for average price of $15.95 on evening meal selections. Wife's food came out cold to boot.

We ate an early dinner with our grandchildren. They have great hamburgers & onion rings. Friendly staff, just a nice relaxed place to have a good meal.

Hey this is jimmy from jimmy macs, and wanted to say how sorry we are to hear about you not getting a chance to eat with us. During different times this time of year the train drops off 1000 or so people in a town that has seating at restaurants around 300 total for all the restaurants combined. And combine that with the fact that we are blessed enough to have a strong local following and unfortunately only seat 95 people total we can run a pretty big wait sometimes. But if me and my wife didn't work real hard to keep up the quality of food and service we would prob have open seats. But we do take pride in our business and our reputation, so I wanted to ask you to take a second to reconsider your review and ratings. We have worked day and night, seven nights a week to get and keep our score high and we are very confused about a 3 out of 5 because we are to busy for the time you have for dinner. Hopefully you will agree that it's not fair to put our score down to a point that would take us months to get back just because we do what we are suppose to do. And then the next time you guys are in town you can call and ask for me or my wife (grace) and we can get you checked in over the phone and reduce any wait time to almost nothing. I truelly do value every single one of our customers, and take great pride in knowing people choose to spend a special occasion, family dinner, or just a bite to eat with us. And truelly hope I can get a chance to take some pride in myself by seeing y'all enjoy not just a meal, but a night out with us. Thanks in advance for your reconsideration

We are a family owned and operated all American steak and seafood restaurant that specializes in hand pattied beef, buffalo, and elk burgers, hand cut steaks, and fresh seafood. Since we opened in 1978 in Tampa Florida by my father, we have been believers in keeping things fresh, fairly priced, and family friendly.
