Previous reviewers were on the money: the food was great and the service was excellent. Reservations suggested.

This is a quaint restaurant tucked away in a little alley that is beautifully maintained. The fried green tomatoes were great. I ordered the sandwich that was like a Philly steak sandwich ( don't remember the exact name) and it was fine. Just like most other sandwiches I have had in the past. The service was great. I would go... More

Went for a late lunch this afternoon. I had the blue cheeseburger and macaroni and cheese. Burger was excellent. Requested mustard for a condiment and was disappointed they did not offer any brown mustard but just regular old yellow mustard. The pasta used in the macaroni and cheese was fusilli. So I didn't really think it was that great. One... More

From the time we walked in the door it felt like we were inconveniencing the entire staff by being there. From the time we were seated it took our server 5-10 minutes to take our drink order and then another 5-10 to get the order. Once we finally ordered it took a ridiculous amount of time to get our food,... More

This was a cute place. A little hidden and the hostess booth is outside...weird... it was mainly reservations only but they did have a waiting list in case the table became open. Between four and six appetizers are half price so we ordered 3 and made that our meal. The food was very fresh and trendy but my boyfriend is... More

The Square Root is a fun, little bit quirky kind of a hang out that sits in an alley, right across from the town chocolate shop. It often has some local, easy-listening live music, and they don't mind if you just hang out on the porch with a drink or two. The food is sometimes good/sometimes not so..... but one... More

The food here never disappoints! I love the house salad with an added skewer of shrimp. If you have room the tuxedo cheesecake is fabulous!

My wife and I stayed a night in Brevard on our motorcycle and were recommended to try the Square Root by the manager at the Sunset Motel. The food was excellent, service was outstanding (Kody was our waiter) and the decor and vibe was very cool.

The staff was very friendly. The waitress was very nice and engaging. The food has it's own taste that the chef has honed in on to be very flavorful. My husband and I were trying to figure out his hamburger's secret ingredient that made it have a different taste but oh so delish. My meal was a Fig Salad that... More
