Fabulous service with a smile

Plaza Garibaldi is a hometown favorite: with a delicious salsa bar (mango salsa is our favorite), yummy cheese dip, and a varied menu. The best thing about PG is the service: the family who owns and runs it are kind and more than accommodating--they will make you just about whatever you want, and welcome changes to your order. Note: no alcohol sales here (at least as of 2020).

Outstanding Food and Service

We stopped in just after they had opened on a Tuesday evening. Very friendly greeting and our pick of seating. Our drink order was taken and chips and salsa arrived. The salsa was excellent with a noticeable fresh tomato flavor instead of the usual heavy spices. The chips were light and crisp and not greasy. We had eaten lunch so didn’t want a large meal so we just order the Super Nachos and an order of guacamole. The guacamole was outstanding with just the right amount of garlic. The nachos were very good with ground beef, shredded chicken, refried beans, lettuce, and sour cream. They also brought out another basket of chips. The service was absolutely fantastic and not to mention the excellent food. The total with two ice teas was $ 20.50. They do not serve alcohol but well worth a visit and we will definitely go back during our seat in Brevard.

Good Food, excellent staff

Ate here while walking around Brevard and liked it. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The chips and hot sauce was very good, they had different types of sauces to try. We had the pork carnitas and combo #1, which was enchiladas and a taco. Our food was very good, large portions. My only complaint was the wait time, there doesn’t seem to be alot of employees. We would definitely return.

Very ordinary Mexican

Nothing here made me want to come back soon. The food was mediocre and service was a bit on the slow side. I’m certain there are better places to eat in Brevard. The salsa reminded me of something that came out of a jar.

Absolutely exceptional

This restaurant is exceptional! The food is absolutely delicious and top notch quality. José is a wonderful host and server and goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. This was my second visit there and I will definitely be going back and bringing more friends along with me. The chairs and tables and decorations inside are really charming and the atmosphere is very peaceful and very family friendly. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant any day of the year! It’s too bad I live so far away!

Great authentic mexican

Camping at Davidson River Campground and met my friend’s granddaughter who is attending Brevard College for dinner. Right on Main Street. All the looks of Mexico. Ordered a combo with pablano pepper, tamal, and chalupa. Lots of food and great taste.

A really good Mexican lunch

Was walking around Brevard looking for Mexican and came here due to reviews and proximity to where I was parked. Very good food that came out quickly and was hot which is definitely one of my peeves. Sign at front door said they are not in social district and have no alcohol, but that wasn't important to me especially at lunch.

good ole no frills mexican food

Service was excellent and menu is what you would expect in any NC mexican establishment. However no booze at this one. Kinda a bummer. Also, no silly covid stuff here.

Never disappointed. Although I do wish they served alcohol, I do respect the reasons they do not and the food is always hot and quick and wonderful. The poblano sauce on the salsa bar is a must!!!

Family friendly Fun

The staff at Garibaldi is so friendly and the food is plentiful and delicious at a great price. I had the carnita asada tacos which were delicious. We also liked the salsa bar. The restaurant was brightly decorated and the music lively.

Nice family restaurant ...good food.

We stopped for lunch and enjoyed ourselves at this friendly family restaurant. The owner/manager seemed to know everyone who came in and was very helpful. The décor includes beautifully carved tables and chairs. The food was good, and servings generous. Chicken enchiladas were very tender and juicy. The beef enchiladas were good, but not quite enough sauce on top. The guacamole appetizer was huge. The menu offers platters, but also a la carte options.

Stopped here for lunch while exploring downtown Brevard. The food was excellent. I had a fajita quesidilla, enchilada and chips and salsa. This place had a "salsa bar" with different types of salsas and Pico. Prices were very reasonable. Wait staff was excellent as well for our party of 7.

Great quesadillas!

Really like quesadillas, and these are very tasty! Service was cordial and prompt, too! We also had a large group, and all were pleased with the food and service, also!
