Delicious brunch. Small but efficient menu. The cranberry mimosa carafes are delicious. Food is always filling and affordable. Will have to try for dinner one night!

A great menu is well-executed here at Vidalia. Highlights I can heartily recommend include the ample portions of Grilled Meatloaf (substitute grits or mashed for the fingerlings unless you are just really into fingerlings), the Chicken & Dumplings (very flavorful and surprisingly complex for comfort food) and the inventive twist on Chicken & Waffles made with sweet potato flour. Also... More

We ate here with our 11-yr old daughter, we did not have a reservation and were told there was seating out on the porch, which was perfectly fine with us. Our server was very attentive and personable. They did not have a kid's menu, but she said that they could accommodate smaller portions for our daughter, which we thought was... More

On a rainy Tuesday evening in August we were seated in the screened-in porch, which was cool and quiet. Asked for suggestions, our cheerful and attentive server recommended the Mussels Potlikker, which she said many of the staff frequently chose for their own meal. The mussels came piled high in a large bowl, accompanied by thick slices of grilled focaccia... More

This is a very nice restaurant with good food and nice atmosphere. A big departure from most of the offerings in Boone, which tend to be more suited toward students. Though the food, service and atmosphere are very good, I would say that portions are on the small side and overall the cost for a dinner is a bit overpriced... More

Our son is starting school at App. State and our daughter and 4 year old grandson drove up from Tryon for a family dinner last night. We were very disappointed in our dinner choice. We were seated in the bright, loud area right by the cooks. I understand the open kitchen concept but this was brightly lit, cold feeling, noisy... More

Excellent food, casual atmosphere, fresh veggies and meat dishes. Wednesday night is burger night and expect gourmet burgers cooked to your specs, with outstanding sides.

Thank Wardpo
