Very good Mexican food at reasonable prices. Excellent service. Large selection of menu items. The salsa and chips were excellent. Just the right amount of heat. Both of our entrees were hot and tasty. One reviewer noted the health inspection report when they visited was 83.5. We ate there on 08/13/16 and noticed the report had risen to 93.5. Restaurant... Food was good. Supreme nachos was huge and very tasty. Clean establishment. Didn't get the usual basket of chips and salsa which the kids didn't like.

Very good food and fast service, right off of the main highway. Fajitas were good. Kept the drinks refilled.

Visited with a friend for dinner. We started with the tableside guacamole that was delicious, all fresh ingredients and tons of flavor. Good and chunky. The we shared the Texas Fajitas for two. Grilled beef, chicken and shrimp served with tortillas, more guacamole and beans. We could easily have fed three with the portion. I'd come back in a heartbeat.

We came here while in our town on vacation visiting Tweetsie Railroad. Our experience was bad from start to finish. The queso was really watered down. We asked for lemon in our water and never got it. I got a large house margarita on the rocks($8.50) and my wife a small frozen one($4.50). Her margarita had more drink than mine... More

I love chili rellanos and order them as often as possible. Dos amigos prepares authentic individual chili rellanos, not the lame kind made in a casserole. Salsa was too mild for us so we asked for something spicier. We got another type of house made salsa that was an excellent mix in with the mild.

We would have walked out right there but I had promised my son Mexican and he took the time to research restaurants in Boone. All of the reviews are stellar; I have to question if they are real. How does a restaurant even get that low of a sanitation rating in NC? The restrooms were clean, as was the rest... More

Was looking for something to take the edge off a long day of driving and was not far from our motel. This turned out to be what we were looking for. The highlight was the seafood soup (soap de tortilla mariscades). This was loaded with huge pieces of shrimp, oysters, mussels, tilapia, octopus with vegetables. It was also a huge... More

Great place for authentic Mexican food. Plenty of seating great prices and great food. Can take large parties also. Not a chain food is well prepared.

This is my favorite place to eat at in Boone. They have some of the best food and the waiters are always there if you need them. Just the best place!
