I visited today after the reviews and the montra of great efforts to feed regardless of funds. The prepared food was very good. The volunteer staff makes a difference whether you're a student on a shoestring budget, elderly person on limited income, or someone who wants to make a difference. Wake County should make permanent space for a new opening... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant when we read the words "local" and "gluten free" on their menu board outside. We were visiting from New Orleans and wanted to eat somewhere that wasn't a chain. We had no idea that we found such a gem. Farm is an acronym for "Feeding All Regardless of Means". We appreciated the delicious food, but... More

Fresh foods prepared daily from local places. Even the salad dressing are made fresh. Amazing food! Pay what you can afford. If you can afford a little bit more, you can provide a meal for someone less fortunate.

For one price you get a full course meal, from a salad, entree, desert and side dish and it will only cost you $7-10. If you are a struggling soul who is hungry with only a dollar in your pocket, the folks will feed you the same meal and accept your dollar while they pile on the food. Always an... More

I've been to farm café several times now and every time did I go the food is outstanding. I like the atmosphere. And the servers are always kind. You get great food for a reasonable price.

We had such a great meal and uplifting experience at FARM. For one cost you can get a complete meal. From the healthy kale salad to the pork loin to the veggies and dessert, the food was really good. Everyone is so happy being part of the organization and you leave there happy too. We went in there not knowing... More

We truly enjoyed our healthy lunch and the volunteer staff is super nice. Nobody leaves hungry, no matter their financial situation. There are daily menus and you pay as a donation. The suggested donation is $7.00 for a small plate and $10.00 for a large plate. The selections include soup, salads, vegetables, main course, dessert and soft drink. If someone... More

Like so many of the reviewers, I was aware of the F.A.R.M. Cafe from what I had read. Today was my first experience for lunch. The food was great and so very fresh. The atmosphere is cheerful. I saw several familiar faces dining and serving. Our community in the High Country appears to be supportive of this service. This should... More

Read about this cafe prior to our trip to Boone and we are so pleased we came to check it out and had a wonderful meal! We were very pleased with the mission of the F.A.R.M. cafe and would love to volunteer on one of our visits to the area. Though we do not live in the area, we do... More

We read about the FARM Cafe in the Mountain Times and were intrigued. The food was great and the staff was very friendly, My sister eat gluten and dairy free and there were several items she could select from--even a yummy cookie for dessert. We were very impressed by their mission. We will certainly be back.
