This place has tacos, burritos and boats. Some of these come in two sizes. We were concerned when they said the kitchen was backed up. I asked how long and the waiter said 10 minutes. It was actually less than that. We had a fried plantain appetizer with mango salsa. I then had a small shrimp boat cooled down by... More

This place is busy for a small place, but well worth any wait! The flavored and options are amazing. Any time I am in Boone, this is a must. Even my kids like it!

At my server's recommendation I tried the Taos Boat and it was delicious. Nice blend of spicy and cool. I love the sweet potato and cornbread in it. I ordered the half which, along with a side of chips and cranberry salsa was more than enough for me. If you have a larger appetite the full would probably be better.... More

Visited on recommendation from a friend. Small, casual place with very good food. Got a 'boat' with fish, sweet potatoes, corn, cheese. Server suggested the cranberry salsa and it was terrific with it. They had toys/books for kids to look at while at the restaurant. Great service. Would return. VERY casual and in a shopping center. Outside tables.

The food was delicious. We both had the bowls- Taos and Yucatan. Both were very flavorful. In the Yucatan the coconut rice was perfect with the shrimp. I had the Taos -there were so many flavors- I really enjoyed the sweet potatoes in the dish and the cream topping had a lovely kick to it. I had the mango salsa... More

It's a must try when you're in the boone area. Everything we tried was amazing. Not too pricey for the food quality.

We were surprised to find a great Caribbean restaurant in Boone, NC. Food was delicious, fresh and innovative. I had the Phoenix Bowl. It came with blackened chicken, roasted red pepper, zucchini, black beans, coconut rice. How creative! The service was amazing also!

We went here again and loved it, again! We had the Marley burrito, chicken sandwich, fish sandwich and fries (sweet potato and regular). They have a delightful staff and we enjoyed chatting with them. Anytime we go to Boone we make sure to stop here for amazing menu items that you can't find anywhere else. Thanks for great food and... Shared their delicious Salinas Salad ( had Rosemary Chicken instead of Salmon ) and their hormone free , antibiotic free burger on gluten free bread with my wife. Both were wonderful . It was also a pleasure sitting outside on their deck , and the server did a good job too .
