Papa Joes is a fabulous Italian restaurant. The moment I walked in the door it felt like home. Joe and his staff are all super friendly. My favorite part about eating there is the yummy homemade desserts. Overall every time I go to Joes I have great food, service, and a wonderful experience.

Authentic cooking with real people. Immediately as I entered I felt like a regular. The Homemade desserts are amazing. Joe himself will come out and strike up a conversation. Don't be surprised to see the Fire and Police departments eating there, enjoying the food: you know it's got to be good if they are there!!!

Food was cold and only had one waitress for the entire restaurant. Service slow for us but the locals seemed to get excellent service. Since Blowing Rock is a tourist town you would think the service would be great. Had a meatball sub and it was filled with three extra large meatballs, whole. Very messy. Should slice the meatballs. Just... More

I love Papa Joe's. I have never had anything there that I didn't like. I like the idea of the small town atmosphere where when you walk in the owner and the staff call you by name. They know your likes and dislikes and make sure you are well taken care of. I recommend this place to people all the... More

Horrible food and service. Don't see how this restaurant stays open. Go to Foggy Rock for spaggetti night on Tuesdays.

The eggplant parm qas def left over and fried in cold grease. As for the garlic bread and sauce bring your own Ragu and Texas Toast.... More

Just average food. I have been here several times over many years. Never had a bad meal, but nothing truly outstanding. Nice beer selection.
