We love this place for the food, but the views are outstanding! Brunch is incredible, service is great, a huge variety, family friendly.... Really... A perfect place.

The friendly gals at the front desk set us up on the patio. Wow! What a great view of the mountains! After several days of rain, fog and clouds, it was so lovely to sit on the sunny patio and enjoy a lunch of tomato bisque and fresh salad greens - and sweet tea! What could be better? Our grandson... Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon while christmas shopping in Blowing Rock. The menu leans towards southwestern with some American staples like cheeseburgers, salads, etc thrown in. My husband had a Mexican plate with chimichangas, it was a large portion and very tasty. I had chicken with a raspberry jerk sauce, which was ok but not a very intense flavored... More

I never miss a trip to this great spot with even better views whenever I head up to Boone. The fish and chips is just wonderful and I get it every time! Great mixed drinks, as well. It is reasonably priced and the staff is welcoming, young and friendly. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a great meal with an... More

Located on the top (or pretty close) of a mountain the majestic view from this restaurant is incredible. The food is just as good. Basic "Americana" food with some local favorites. An excellent "sit down" restaurant to enjoy whilst traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway

We stopped for a late lunch - staff friendly, food good. My rice dish was ok - the rice a little overcooked but everyone else had a great meal.

So I went to canyons to see the famous view and grab a bite to eat with some friends. I quickly found that this "view" was the only thing they have going for them... Let me begin by saying this place is a dump. The restrooms are horrid and couldn't possibly be smaller. On the way to the restroom I... More

We are terribly sorry about your experience with us. The building is close to a hundred years old and considered "historic" so renovations involving the floors and building in general would compromise the structural integrity. More importantly, we are very apologetic concerning the quality of your food. We strive to use local ingredients as well as the freshest products available.... More

Our crew comes here for the Sunday Jazz Brunch. Canyons has great live jazz with a college town atmosphere with some great food and a view of the mountains. Since we always go at brunch time, some of us get breakfast and others get the typical lunch offering. Our favorites: omelets, french toast, black beans & rice, burgers and the... More

View, service and hot chocolate was amazing! Lunch was good, but it was just out shined by the other aspects of eating there.

Tonight I visited this restaurant as a a party of three, celebrating a birthday. My bill Was $93 and some change after tax. For this price, one of our two appetizers was incorrect and nothing was done to correct it, not replaced with the correct item, not removed form our check..Nothing.  The waitress said "sorry, I thought you ordered shrimp," we...
