I don't often do this but I have to brag on the experience my friends and I had today at this establishment. The food was great but the service was above and beyond. I believe our servers name was Kingsley. This gentleman absolutely made our experience a spectacular one. Very charismatic!!!! If you decide to visit this restaurant, which you... More

We love to go to Canyon's after hikes for a toddy, or Sunday Jazz Brunch, or for a casual meal. Prices are moderate, food is good, and the wait staff and management are terrific. Canyon's is high on our list of favorites!

Had lunch here and had a window seat for good view.. Had the trout fingers that had so much breading on them they were as large as corn dogs! Not much trout to be found. Buffalo chicken was a notch above trout fingers. Salads were good. Not sure if I would return. Probably would try some place else.

By far, one of the best places in the area for splendid sunsets, with outdoor seating on a deck overlooking a hillside. Beer selection is one of the best around as well. Most of my favorites were on tap, always with a local or two represented. We had dinner there, good food, pub style, reasonably priced. South of town, on... More

The best part is the view of Grandfather and Grandmother Mountains. The food was fine, but the wait staff wasn't. Generous portions but our food arrived at different times. Had trouble getting a second beer and refills for tea. It was after a ballgame but they were not prepared.

I can never drive by this place on my way to Blowing Rock without stopping in for their amazing Spicy Bloody Mary at the bar! Not to mention the view! Always meet new friends here! Locals are great too!

While visiting the Blowing Rock area, my husband and I stopped by for an early dinner. This restaurant has been here forever, and we have been here before. We had our dog with us, so we requested outdoor seating. Very friendly waitress even brought over a bowl of water for our pet. The view is breathtaking from the deck. I... More

Shabby looking interior with uncomfortable seats. Food took 40 minutes to arrive and was just OK and not worth the wait. View was spectacular but it's a restaurant so...

Canyons is a restaurant & bar that must be appreciated for what it is. Canyons has spectacular lunch & dinner specials, which you can view online daily, and a great diverse menu. Their NC Mountain Trout is the best anywhere. And, for their Sunday Jazz Brunch try Eggs Benedict, with a spicy Bloody Mary. They're also the only restaurant in... More
