When we go to Black Mountain, we always come here for dinner and it never disappoints. The food is amazing and they always have excellent drink specials! We were seated outdoors, per our request. There was a nice fire feature nearby and the server was...perfect! Dinner was extraordinary for New Years Eve. The beef tenderloin with horseradish mashed potatoes were just perfect!More

Our 2nd visit here and was just as good as we remembered. The fried green tomatoes are a must. Tried the filet this time and it was tender and juicy. A staple when we stop in black mountain now.

Based upon reviews, my wife, son and I stopped in for lunch on Saturday. No wait, with a table in their nice sun room. Service was great. I am a sucker for fried fish and Reuben sandwiches. So when I saw the combo with a...side of home made chips and siracha ranch, I couldn't resist. It was one of the best sandwiches in recent memory- no joke. The fish was delicious with a thin crispy batter that stayed crispy throughout. On top of white slaw with cheese on marbled rye/pumpernickel. What could be better! I will definitely be back!More

Every single element of our meal was absolutely perfect. We could not have asked for a nicer meal or a nicer venue to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. We started with the fried green tomatoes which came with a potato cake in the center that...was so savory and delicious. We had the fried grouper and chips and the shrimp and grits and it was all so good. Our server Jocelyn went out of her way to make it a very special evening and was very attentive. She even sent us home with a wodge of their award-winning coconut pineapple cake which we murdered for breakfast the next morning. It couldn't have been nicer and we will definitely plan to return.More

Great food and great atmosphere! We enjoyed a delicious meal here and they were able to accommodate all the food allergies at our table (That a big plus!). The filet mignon and salmon are a definite must try!!

This place was awesome. The waitress was overwhelmed but got to us quickly. I ordered the lemon trout which was fantastic and my husband got the shrimp and grits which he thought was the best he’d ever had. We also got the fried mushrooms and...they were wonderful as well! Highly recommended!More

First of all, the outdoor ambience is superb - especially in the time of Covid. My shrimp & grits were the best ever! Unbelievably great! Incredibly delish & gourmet! My partner ordered the turkey, mashed potato, & green bean meal. He said it was “so-so.”...He was not impressed. He should have ordered the blackberry bbq pork chops. I think he would have been delighted with his entree if he had done so!More

Being safe, we wanted to eat outdoors, but it was chilly. The Bistro had super portable fire pits and put one right next to our table. So that was great - and the food was wonderful. Shrimp and Grits and Pork Chop made our day.

Cute, cozy dining experience in the Town of Black Mountain. Prices are reasonable with delicious food. Great people, decent wine list, excellent location to town. Parking limited but public parking next door.
