Due to Covid, we ordered our dinner to go. It was ready on time and absolutely delicious! Don’t be put off by the fact that you can’t order online. Calling was easy, and the person who took our order was really nice and efficient. Highly...recommend!More

We stopped here to eat dinner on our drive to Greensboro. We are so glad we did! We had the Brie flatbread to start. It was wonderful! The biscuits were the best I’ve had since my grandmothers. The apple butter was amazing. I had the...ravioli duo with goat cheese sauce and I wanted it to last forever. My husband had the pork chop and he said it’s the best he’s ever had! We wish this place was closer to us!More

We were treated like special friends. I had made reservations for a graduation 'celebration' for our daughter, graduating during 2020. The staff went above and beyond to make our entire experience comfortable and welcoming. The food, service and dessert from Four Sister's Bakery were all...outstanding.More

We love this wonderful bed and breakfast and the hosts. We have been here several times and the ninth year for Thanksgiving and can't imagine spending the holiday anywhere else. The atmosphere, food, attached bakery and family feel. We stayed here in July also and...never felt we were in danger with the virus being a threat. The Inn follows the protocol required to be open and welcome guests. They have changed meal handling and seating to keep people safe. They would love to welcome you during this holiday season. The shops in Black Mountain are nearby and the mountains for things to do or just enjoy the Inn and have a restful stay.More

One of our favorite places to stay and eat. Great stay, excellent customer service, dinner was pot roast and trout, incredible desserts. We stayed in the Music room and were very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and easily customizable.

My husband and I dined at The Red Rocker Inn Restaurant for our 29th anniversary. It was a Monday evening in Black Mountain and not all the restaurants were open. We made same-day reservations and were able to get a table. My husband and I...both enjoyed our food very much. I had the Blackberry BBQ Salmon and my husband had the Grilled Carolina Mountain Trout. For dessert, we shared the pumpkin bread pudding. Again, it was delicious. We also shared a nice bottle of pinot grigio. Our server, Crystal, was WONDERFUL! She was friendly, attentive, and very hospitable to us and all the guests she served. The ambiance of the restaurant and the inn lobby were both comfortable. Best of all, it was within walking distance of The Monte Vista Hotel, where we were staying. We will definitely go back to The Red Rocker Inn Restaurant on our next visit to Black Mountain.More

The Inn keepers daughter is the chef for dinner. The best food in town by far. One of the best breakfast you'll ever eat.

We were expecting to be blown away but it was just ok. My husband steak was TERRIBLE, full of gristle and inedible. On the other hand, my trout was very good. I’m not sure we would try them again as this was the worst meal...of our trip.More

We did not stay at the Red Rocker Inn but dined there for our anniversary. We received good service but the food was overcooked and overpriced for the quality of the dishes. We definitely will not return.More
