Went there with friends for a quick bite to eat before hitting the mountains. The biscuits and the bakery items were fantastic. Ordered a biscuit breakfast sandwich and it was too big to handle with my hands. They must be doing something right as the...More

I regularly go here when I have a big appetite for breakfast. The egg, cheese, and meat biscuit is filling and fresh. Service is always friendly. The only downside is its very popular and can be busy but they get the food done in good...More

Stopped in while in Black Mountain based on family recommendation. Was not disappointed. These are melt in your mouth biscuits. I enjoyed a plain biscuit with butter and then sampled all the jam options. They were all delicious! Would have loved a second biscuit but...More

Now it is obvious that this place is a local favorite. It is hard to find a table. The biscuit is big enough that you don't really need anything else for breakfast. The biscuit was rather tasteless but when you add butter and home made...More

We have tried almost everything on the menu over multiple visits. The food is excellent, and the portions are large (maybe too much so). The fried green tomatoes are some of the best we have ever had. BRB is almost always busy, so expect a...More

Food was excellent and generous portions. Service was great! Atmosphere was vintage, quaint and homey, all pluses in my book 😊. Outside is strip mall but don’t let that fool you into passing by. There is a treasure inside 😎😎

Definitely a place to visit if you love biscuits. Expect a long wait, though. Long line to order and a long wait for your order to arrive at your table. One half of your biscuit is fully covered in the ingredients you order. The other...More

Loved the biscuits and veggy sausage option we had. The place was busy and stayed through breakfast. The portions were quite large and all the plates looked really good. We had stayed 3 nights on Black Mountain and thought that these biscuits were excellent. .

The biscuits were giant sized versions of the flaky yummy ones i used to have as a child. They are seriously tasty.

The distance is 1.1 miles straight down State Street. It is a 20 to 25 minute leisurely walk. 4 minutes by car or if you are a very fast runner.
