Tucked away, Lookout was a nice find and I think a "place to watch" in the future. Nice beer selection including both an IPA and a stout they are expanding into an adjacent room. Along with their outdoor (smoking) patio I predict it will become...More

Just finally got to visit this brewpub and it's a pleasant place. It's located in an unassuming metal building but quite nice inside. They have about 8 brews on tap as well as a few non alcoholic options. I wished they had more snacks. I...More

I come here every time I'm in Black Mtn. Is it the best brewery I've ever been too? No. Is it worth stopping by? Absolutely. Try the local chips!

This is just one of of those hidden gems in North Carolina. The micro brewery has developed a complete line of quality product as a result of quality products and passion. The tap room is run by friendly staff and is busy with locals that...More

An informal place to gather, greet friends, hear some local music on one or two evenings each week, and of course to try a range of local brews. Not really a restaurant, and a small place, but good brews, indoor and outdoor seating, and dog-friendly....More

Enjoying a tasting of all their beers today and was pleasantly surprised. They have a nice variety of beer styles and several to choose from. Would highly recommend give them a visit. Will be back.

Over the weekend, we enjoyed a pre-Spartan Super Race carb load by enjoying a couple of quality "Lookout Stouts" here. The inside atmosphere of Lookout is cozy and friendly. Their prices are very reasonable. I would like to return again if we are in the...More

Not exactly a picture setting but we were there for the beer. Small seating area open to large porch. Offers live music when there are not thunderstorms. Lady at the bar was a treasure. Really knows her beers. Tastings were offered. We enjoyed several of...More
