We stopped in a few months ago for lunch and had some really good food and beers. Sadly this 2nd trip was not as great. The burger was average, the beer selection was thinner than last time, however our waiter was awesome. Would we go...More

After walking around the town and wanting to find a cool place to have a late lunch, we found the Trailhead listed in the Chamber of Commerce tourist magazine. I had a salad and my husband had a version of BLT. Both were delicious. This is...More

Be prepared for a short wait, only because if it were bad, no one would be there. The PEI Mussels are some of the best I have ever eaten ANYWHERE including in Nova Scotia. There are dishes available that normally one wouldn't expect to find...More

I had the mountain trout which was average, a real disappointment when in the NC mountains. The corn pudding was excellent (not served with the trout but ordered as a side dish). The wine pour is not generous.

Had a late lunch here after driving the Appalachian Parkway! Plenty of options for vegetarians and a great craft beer selection!

Very decent dinner of fish tacos with a side of black beans. The tacos were quite tasty; the bean pretty blah. Great selection of beers. Reasonably priced. Very busy place, but they were able to handle the crowd.

Got seated quickly, placed order quickly. The place was 2/3 empty. Waited 20 minutes for food (salad and jerk chicken sandwich). A creative cook added curry to the jerk chicken sandwich which was not mentioned on the menu. I can't eat curry but didn't have...More

Seriously. It seems like a weird item to be impressed by but their onion rings blew me away! Tuna tacos were very yummy, too and both their key lime and peanut butter pies are AMAZING. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere, good prices.

"It" used to be My Father's Pizza, but now "it" is Trailhead. Either lunch or dinner is excellent here. The burgers are winners. The rare tuna starter is a good small meal in itself. When shrimp and grits are the special, you shouldn't miss it....More
